O2 XDA MINI S and WM6

Hi All

I have a G4 which I think is CID locked.
IPL 2.21.0001
SPL 2.21.0001

I have managed to get a number of different WM6 ROMs in
and 'sort-of' working. The reason for the upgrade is to get A2DP
working with my nice Motorola S9's. All of the WM6 ROMs give
me A2DP, however 'Contacts' does not work on any of them.
The Contacts screen flashes up for a moment then closes.

I have tried Titan V2.0, TNT 4.0 and SeeNoEvil ROMs

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Try install contact manager iphone v 0.11 . The built-in manager is crap. Really ;)

It is known that restoring WM5 contact database to WM6 device does not work. You should use a backup program that does not backup the contacts database directly, or to backup with ActiveSync+Outlook.

I am not trying to restore my contact list, I am trying to launch
'contacts'.

I have gone to \Windows and 'tapped' on addrbook.exe and
that does the same thing. The 'contacts' screen pops up for
a moment, then shuts down again, as though looking for a
.dll that isn't there. 'Calander' and 'tasks' work fine so I am
sure 'poutlook.exe' is working, it's just 'contacts' that doesn't
work.

Does any "super-softie" know what files addrbook.exe needs to
open/touch in order to run?

Hi.

I had the same problem as yours.

I am also using a 2.21.0001 G4 CID locked.

Also the Windows Live Messager only flashed but not really running. The way to solve this is very simple.

Just do a hard reset. After that you will be able to use both msn and contacts.

I tried to cid unlock it but i still get the same spl and not the olipro one.
Any idea?
