UK cheapest Internet for Smartphone ???

whot is the best deal for cheapest internet in UK for mideum to havy use
i.e. Voip Skype, Windows Live mesenger ?

preferably SIM only ?

i'd like to know the options too. I used to have O2 pay and go and it burned my credit ridiculously. Orange pay and go is OK atm, i pay a fiver for 1 week. It does seem slow, though. Even when the edge icon is showing, my laptop's internet connection is always sloow; windows reports 230.4 Kbps, dslreports reports 42Kbps but things seem sluggish.

I love my tmobile sim only monthly contract.

£7.50 a month for50minutes, but, because it's a contract, I get 5to add the £7.50 a month web n walk bundle onto it.

Virtually unlimited* data for £15 a month.






* I use lots of push email, messaging, grpahical rss feeds etc.... they've never given me trouble.

i think your best bet is 3 network. they have the best deal with skype and unlimited browsing at £5 a month. all you have to do is signup for a £15 deal and then include X-series silver in your price plan. you will get a free handset(nokia6120 recomd).then you can take out your sim/chip and pop it into any 3G handset.

EDIT: Oh hold on "When using the internet, you can't use some websites (including adult websites)" - I don't like isps telling me what sites I can't visit?

and question about 5 pounds internet addon ----

cen i wisit site's like XDA-developers etc. will it be imcluded in that 5 pound addon ?

is limit a 1GB a month or what ?

it sed not to be used as a modem, whot will they do if i do use it as a modem ? how would they know ?

will all these work on Windows Mobile 6 smartphone ? (WM6 Treo750 unbranded, unlocked)

been tryin to research this myself too! V frustrating tryin to work out what im gettin for my money with so much *terms and conditions bulls**t!

use my htc touch for work to receive email sending and receiving would be nice to be able to use skype and general internet with out worrying about costs!! web and walk seems to exclude messinger and voip, 02 is offering me 600mins 500txt and 1mb for £35/month or xtra 20mb for a tenner extra and £300 cashback over the year dont know how quick i would use 21mb tho?
