Please, what is CID?

I suggest you go to the WIKI and do a search, such as "CID" or "SuperCID". I know there's a vocabulary of terms in the Hermes WIKI.

CID-lock means: YOu can only flash official ROms in YOUR device language. All other will cause "vendor-ID error"

All devices are cid-locked by default - you have to pay for unlocking.

Aserg found a way of flashing devices to WM6 without the need of unlocking

BUT: when something goes wrong - you need an RUU in your language to unbrick your device.

SO pleas read more when trying to flash a WM6 rom.

ahh -- i have the WM5 , in 4 leanguage (when i hard reset it will let me choose English, Czech (my leanguage - but i have Eng for default) and 2 next leanguage, so i have RUU in English, will it work?

but im not sure if it is Main leaguage ... this Rom have 4 leanguages -- totaly Tranclated, i dont know, if it is Czech rom , and you can choose Eng + next 2, or if it is Eng rom, for chzech republic, so putted there next 3 leanguage (Czech + that 2) ... does anybody have that "multileanguage roms too??"

Hmm never heard of multiple language boot before.. but i suggest you'd just try them! (if you really need the info)

Since your device info changes when you change the language, i would not know, only way to find out is trying

You CANNOT brick with an RUU, if it's not he right one, you will get Invalid Vender ID error and it will not flash

Oh REALY?? :) You realy calm me:) im going to try to flash my Windows tonight... when my brother (4years older than me) goes home, he will probably try to flash to WM6 too ... so thx for guides guys:rolleyes:

if i sayd that you calmed me, i was not serious ... now:-/ agrh .. :D i realy dont know what hapended, i never tryed to change rom, my experience there is 0% so i dont know what exactly may hapen, and when something hapen, i dont know how to solve that.... so i need to know all risk and especialy yours opinions!!

it depends why you want to know, just curious? do you want to flash WM6? why do you want to flash?

You got a point there:D then i suggest you just try the RUU's! if not one works, then you should CID-unlock at imei-check.co.uk. then flash to the latest WWE ROM, and then flash WM6 to it! good luck
