HTC Shift missing phone dialer !

I was looking fwd to this device and i am really disappointed to find this out.

not surprising. HTC marketed it more like a UMPC, rather then a phone.

if you want a phone more then a UMPC, they'll ask you to get the Athena instead. =)

Those devices are just gimmicks, the Shift doesn't shift anything other than making you have to carry your windows mobile phone device and that limited UMPC, the Athena is just an oversized windows mobile device too.

I'd rather have a nice 12" tablet pc and a ETEN X800 with keyboard.

I am waiting of this device already sometimes. I am just in love with it. Anyhow to have not the phone dialer is a issue, but I hope some smart guys will come up with 3 party implementation. definitely it is my next device!!!
