Mornin,
Everytime try to Activesync my HTC Titan I get the following error.
"Synchronization cannotbe completed successfully. Reconnect your device and try again. If problem persists" blah blah blah.
So I haven't changed any settings on my computer nor my phone. I have uninstalled and reinstalled activesync and nutin. The phone doesn't generate an error and it displays as Connected but can't and wont sync.
In a nice twist...it has no issue playing nicely with my HTC Wizard (no SIM even).
Should I just call Sprint...or are they just gonna tell me to hard reset like I really don't want to do (but probably should) as...I can't activesync or backup...
Anyone else gotten this error?

Are you trying to sync using USB? If so, try going into Settings->Connections->USB to PC, and uncheck "Enable advanced network functionality".

Thanks. I should have been more specific. Yes this is a sync via USB. I have uncheck that box the day I got my phone. I've never had any phone work while that stupid box is check and I almost always forget about it. Anyway, the phone had been syncing for about the month or more before it rebelled. I did not intall anything new during the time in which it stopped work either.

Hmm... Not to suggest the simplest ideas if you've already done it, but have you tried removing the relationship in windows and deleting every trace of that computer, as well as on the phone, then rebuilding it? I tried to plug my phone into my home computer to backup all my contacts and stuff and it wouldn't work until I removed the device and re-added it (I think because I had had a hard reset since the last time I synced, so it didn't know it).

I have deleted the relationship on the computer, and reinstalled Activesync. I haven't deleted the relationship on the phone, I wasn't aware one existed that could be deleted.

It might not, haha, I wasn't actually sure. Let me double check on mine...
Edit: Yeah, if you click your Comm Manager, then ActiveSync, it should show last updated dates on all the computers/exchange servers, etc. Click Menu->Options, then click on the computers you want to remove (you might want to try removing them all just to be safe, you can re-add later of course), then click Delete.
I don't know what additional functionality this has over just deleting the relationship on the computer, but it's worth a try at least.

I just had the same problem. I deleted the relationships from the PDA and PC then reconnected. Everything seems to be working fine. Ironic that this happened to us around the same time...hope it's not virus related.
