Free CID Unlocking for G3 AND G4 Wizards!

Hey Guys!!

Me and EquinoXe have been working on this for the past ~2 weeks and finally success has been made.
We have gone down several avenues but this one we like.
Not a single file has been modified and thus we are not breaking ANY rules - We Win!

Knowledge should be free, and I like to keep it that way.

No luck! It said "corrupted key file or key mismatch ...". Anybody else got the same message on G4?

what type do u have- G3 or G4 type???
I have G4 type & it does not usefull with it!!

I have a G3, but "key" has been extracted with a G4!

Will look into this @ home (currently @work).

I tried it, and for me it didn't give a "corrupted key or key mismatch"-error. It completed stage 1, but then it makes an intermediate reboot and then I get an connection-error message and end up with an unbootable device. Gonna have to reinstall the original ROM I guess.

I tried it on a G4 QTEK 9100 which is CID locked (deuh) and which is SIM unlocked. Oh yeah, I tried it under Windows Vista, which is supposed to be supported by the IMEI-tool.

***edit: I tried it again on XP machine and then it continued with stage 2, so dont try to use the tool in Vista! Sadly I now also encountered the 'corrupted key or key mismatch'-error :( ***

btw, the question I am keeping asking is that. I've ever successfully flash my CID locked G4 to wm6. During the flash, the aWizzard tool told me that I successfully unlocked CID.

If say I successfully unlocked my G4 by using your tool. How do I check whether my G4 is locked or not, Any software? I am quite confused about this.

Anyway :D :p ;) :) will this awesome bloody software today. Hahahaha

Don't use Vista with the IMEI-tool, it wont work and leave your device rebooting to the bootloader until you complete the unlock proces, succesfull or not, on a XP-machine. It fixed the faulty booting for me, so it should work for you aswell

Right guys, I think we better close this before we get anyone elses hopes up!
I will take the link down too, But I do recommmend you all download a copy of m3000v4unlock.exe before they change it.

Currently this file only does G3 which isnt a great deal of use, but stick around - there will be a solution for G4's soon guys!
