Hi,
I find that by turning the phone on and then connecting the usb, it works ok. the led should turn red (atom exec) if it is working. If I just plug the phone into the usb car charger it does not work.
cheers, Richard
(i think this thread is in the wrong forum, should be accessories)

I had the same problem with my Atom. I think you need the car charger to output 1A as I have tried a couple with 500ma and it would not charge.

by default, all other USB charger could not charge the O2 because they are NOT designed to charge a WINCE. Have you ecer notice that even you plug in your WINCE devices to a USB cable connected to your PC without installing a correct driver, it won't charge your WINCE?

thks all for e replies...
i had discovered the reason behind why the usb charger is not working for pda phones. its bcos the voltage is too low to charge the pda phones.
now i had bought another usb charger with a higher voltage n it works!!! so for those who want to charge their pda phones using usb charger when driving, pls rem to get RAPID usb charger. only these RAPID usb charger works with pda phones.
enjoy!!!
cheers
