I am looking to upgrade the IPL / SPL from version 2.16 to 3.08. Can I go directly to the 3.08 or do I need to upgrade to v2.21 first.
My reasons for doing this are because I recently was sent a SIM card upgrade (Orange contract, HTC Wizard is an unlocked MDA Vario running Faria's WM6) and I am unable to send SMS messages from the phone or access the CALL DIVERT / FORWARDING options. When I attempt to send a message or access CALL DIVERT I get the error message "The phone is busy, try again later".
Do you think upgrading the IPL/SPL will resolve this?
