iPAQ 6915 turnoff problem

I am a new user of HP iPAQ6915, however, i do not know how to turnoff the device, please anybody can help me solve it? does the device provide the turnoff function? Thank you :confused:

you can turn it off by pressing the power button but it is in stendby mode
the device needs it for the time,tasks...
if you want to shutoff the device
turnoff the device and then take the battery out for 2 sec,now you can return it back & the device is off
