Extracting the existing ROM

I'm about to upgrade my new Exec to WM6, however before I start I'd like to extract the ROM etc thats already on the device, it's newer than the version available from O2's website.

I'm sure I saw a thread about doing this, all be it probably in the Alpine forum, the phone I used to have.

Anyone help?

look in my folder.You shoud be able to find the firmware you have at the moment.

Sadly it isn't, the newest I can see in your list is 1.30.162, which I finally found on O2's website tonight, after a it of digging.

When you run this it give the details that I'm upgrading:
Device CE image version from 1.30.124 to 1.30.107
Device Extended imgae version from 1.30.263 to 1.30.162
Device Radio image version from 1.09.00 to 1.09.00

So as you can see this is a step back. I have found one other reference to the version I have in Google, thats it.

If you or anyone else can aid me in extracting my ROM, then you are more that welcome to a copy of it.
