Noob needs help... [Archive]

I tried earlier today to flash my 8125 using ShellTool and now my phone powers up, but just stays at the IPL, SPL Cingular screen...I let it sit for over an hour with no change...tried a bunch of different things from what I have been reading here on the forums to no avail. Now when I run ShellTool it seems to do nothing...any other things I could try?

Okay, was finally able to get the HTC ROM downloaded and now it's flashing back to the original ROM (I hope). What's the best ROM to use nowdays?

I've tried many different roms and so far NBD seems to be the best.

Got it up and running. I'm going to start flashing tomorrow and see what happens.
