** theres a website that changes the windows mobile style to an iphone style , not with some theme files on WAD or WA2 but with the same function on iphone and its called Flash User Interface (FUI) , so its based on flash type files . u can change pages by scrolling fingers just like cube . u wont feel uncomfortable with this like theme files . **

I've been using it since first Alpha, but I'm afraid I don't really follow your question. The first thing I would do is make sure that I had all of the current release files. You can find those by going here.

Basically just download the full package to a folder on your desktop. Call it "FUI" or "FreeStyl" (the new name). Then download all three of the update packages and extract them over top of the first files you downloaded. In fact, here, I've gone ahead and done it for you. It's attached to this email. Just extract the zip file to a folder on your device. To run the program, just run FUIStarter. That should launch the server and the Flash based interface. Oh yeah, you will need Adobe Flash Lite installed to. You can snag that by going to Adobe's website.

You might want to consider posting a request for help in the WNAIP forums too. If you want more icons, there are a couple of different icon packs that have been created too. You can find those on the WNAIP forums as well.

The forum isn't really all that different than any other I've seen. The files are all in the thread stickied at the top called [Files] Consolidated Downloads Thread. Granted, it would make more sense to have the main download package updated to include all the updated files. And perhaps the organization could be improved a bit, but I've also seen worse.

By the way, the site's optimized for use by Mobile phone, so you can go there from your computer, but it will definitely not hurt to go there by XDA. And all of the files are in cab format.

Anyone know how to create an icon/shortcut on the today screen to start this app and also to create a shortcut on fui to take you back to today?

I've got htc home and o2 plus.

Edit: Don't worry i'm being a pleb. Added it to tray icons in battery status. Now i just need a shortcut back.

Well I suppose you could put an icon to the FUIstop program. That SHOULD stop the server and all, not certain it will close out the UI though. There is also an exit button on the last configuration screen with the iconconfig. That will exit the UI but still leaves the server running. For that matter, I think you can hit the end button on your phone and it will dump you back to the today screen. My phone isn't on me at the moment or I would test that and confirm.

Yep i've gone for the using the hang up button. its a bit slow though so for now i'll stick to tapping my file explorer icon and go from there

Thats how i've got mine set up but you can pretty much customize the wallpapers etc however you want

I have downloaded freestyle.zip and flash lite 2.1 but cant seem to get it to work i have pressed FUIServer it show that it is loading but nuthin happens then if i press FUIStarter i get this message: Unable to start LAUNCHER.SWF. Error code : Win32exception any ideas how i can get to work?

Looks a little bit too crowded and work in progress for my taste.. I currently use WM6 with the HTC gunmetal theme (just plain black) and htc touch home and slide2unlock.

Delete the one on your device. Make sure flash lite 2.1 is installed properly and then extract the contents of the archive to your storage card or device

Here are a couple of screenshots of my first two pages at the moment. Note that I haven't been doing much configuration as I'm waiting for the beta and for a new ROM for my phone. Also the backgrounds do cycle automatically so some backgrounds show up the text under the icons better than others.

At the moment, it's just the launcher, like you see above. There will be further functionality added. Also they have started to enable the ability to use plugins so that should expand the availability of additional apps. However the goal of the project is to give Windows Mobile a more usable user interface rather than trying to replicate the iPhone interface as such. So it probably won't have the picture flipping and all that unless someone chooses to create a flash application to do it.

I've got this program running perfectly stable its the other windows programs that cause the grief.

ironically although the basis of this program is to create a UI for windows thats slick and cool like the iphone - and not just clone it - I still want the iphone icons - or unless someone else can make a better set.
So

I'm looking for an iphone PNG icon pack for - iphone icons at 60x60 but with the bordered edges that these ones have...

(changing the size of a png to 60x60 means that the image is still to big for the screen and looks out of place, the same way rotlaus's iphone theme does.)

anyone up to the challenge?
