And of course don't include Wifi nor BT related to OS.

Only version control number from HTC, i suppose, but not sure.
If you take a look at this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=289173 you'll see that this number is not representative.

I did some basic test, seems to be better for me.
On 1.50, my phone ring after the 2nd or 3rd ring (dialing from my home phone) which results in alot of missed calls. (The voice mail kicked in after the 3rd ring)
On 1.48, my phone starts to ring after the second ring. On 1.51, it starts to ring after the first ring. I think this may in fact reduced the missed calls. Will try for a few more days before knowing once more calls are received.

Hi, SL.
I don't know if the Radio is the only cause for the delay, cuase seems the file format for the ringtone and other things can affect too.
I posted in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=1440403&postcount=266 some tests i do to see how my hermes works receiving calls ...
If you make the same test, post your results to see if can obtain more info.

I've noticed different radio behavious for the radio roms ending with a .10 compared to those ending with .00. I suspect the xx.10 series are meant for worldwide usage while the xx.00 series are more US-specific.

Yes, you can load this Radio ROM with any OS version. They are independent.

Tank you very mutch for your reply.
I tried official HTC WM6 for two weeks and I have downgraded to WM5 for some reasons:
1) In some situations is slower (but really not mutch )
2) SMS menagement is very unconfortable
3) I don't need some new features offered by new S.O.
4) More important... Thanks to your guides I have found courage to hack my phone (it has been wonderfull) so perheaps I will upgrade my phone another time in future... ;)
"Live long and prosper" to you and your forum.

3G seemed to work at first and was about the same as 150 radio but after running for 2 days, it would not connect to the internet nor update my weather until I was able to access just the EDGE network, then everything updated and worked....Back to Radio 150

Seems to be about the same as 1.50. Overheating issue seems to have gone away. I did notice that I have an added tone when I hit the talk button.

Hi guys,
Flashed last night and while sleeping it drained from 60% to 0%
During this morning experienced one missed call, not to bad but...
So back to 1.48.0.10 that seems to be the best one for TMN in Portugal.

I'm on VP3G 3.0. I guess I should update my signature.
Update: Saw this entry below in the other WM6 1.51 thread. Looks like Schaps 3.54 also working with this radio in Atlanta on ATT.

I'm using radio 1.51 for 24 hours now. No battery problems, better reception (compared to 1.50) and NO internet problems!:)
I'll stick to this one.

Schaps 3.54c WM6 ROM
Radio 1.51 works fine for everything except data.
3G/GPRS/Edge all connect fine, but no data transfer when trying to use them.
Had to reload back to 1.50

1.50 overheated bad. 1.51 seems to have fixed that.

but in your opinion, 3g speeds/ect, battery life, and overall reception are better in 1.51?

This one's a dud. Don't bother installing it.
I was having some roaming issues using 1.50 that may be operator related, but I was about to test 1.47 with my operator (having read that other's had better experiences with it than 1.50), when I saw 1.51.
After installing 1.51 all seemed to work fine. The Internet through the unit itself seemed snappier, even. I tested the "incoming-calls-with-HSDPA" issue and had no problem although it seemed as if the data connection was paused while the call came in whereas it's never done that before or with other radios. After a soft reset I noticed the radio took a long time to boot. My entire system came online including the today screen before I was asked to enter my SIM pin code. This could cause issues with any autostart 3rd party apps.
Next test was to put a post here using Internet connection sharing. Boy what a jip. The phone seemed to see a connection the entire time, but the PC kept saying I lost the connection. This may of course be my PC on the fritz, but all this plus the fact that I saw no reception improvement led me to continue and revert back to 1.47 to test that.
My operator is 3-Sweden and I'm running Satin Normal with loads of 3rd party gadgets plus some tweaks to bring it up to Schapps 3.57 speed.
I'll be waiting for a newer radio or returning to 1.47 or 1.50.

I was home sick today and I was getting push mail quicker than my vpn connection. Reception seems better. Battery life is still undetermined as I was connected to power most of the day. Also answers quicker for me. Still concerned what will happen when I roam out of 3G coverage.

Back to 1.50 from 1.51 for Italy.
I think there's too much battery consumption and also the receiving quality is not the best for me.
