Need super help with dopod d810!!! Upgrade ERROR!!!!

i went to the website
www.asia.htc.com/asia/event/WM6/index.html

and followed the on-screen instruction
what happened now is that there's an update error

i followed the step by step to recover but the thing just stuck there
now whenever i on my dopod d810,
my screen just shows the 3 color screen

and that's that
i dont know what to do!!!
help!

and this is crap
i cant seem to establish a connection AT ALL with the activesync
and whenever i want to update, it just says ERROR [286]

i did ALL the steps it suggested
- disconnect USB cable from phone
- remove the battery
- wait 3 seconds and reinstall
- when you switch on, you see 3 screens
- connect USB cable again
- resume install

and then after i resume install,
SAME PROBLEM again! ERROR [286]
its like a vicious cycle!

Just for your info
i am currently using activesync 4.5

and right now whenever i connect my usb to my phone,
the activesync doesnt seem to be able to detect the phone at all

what happened is that right now
i actually used the Aussie one and that doesnt work i think
(assuming that is the problem)

I tried the SEA one and it also doesnt seem to work
I heard that you need to use specific update

the problem is
i dont know where my dopod originate from???
is there any way to tell?

what does the tri-colour screen say?

you can check out trinityguides upgrade problem faq (http://trinityguides.info/index.php?option=com_content&task=category&sectionid=3&id=29&Itemid=67) and see if those steps help you.. all isn't lost yet, you should be able to revive your device

the strange thing is that~
the WM6 that that guy use doesnt seem to have any transcriber
while the official WM6 latest version has

It's not strange at all. The rom that you downloaded is a cooked rom. I think the cook removed any excessive stuff and so you may not find everything you want there.
