Is it possible to use music from your micro sd card as ringtones?
So far, i've had to put the files on the actual phone device but it sucks because the phone has limited memory space...

I have my ringtone on the micro-SD card, in the folder /Opslagkaart/My Documents/Mijn beltonen (its a Dutch WM6 ROM, the translation would be something like /storage card/My Documents/My ringtones/
This works for me

Putting songs in "\Storage Card\My Documents\My Ringtones" works, allowing you to play ringtones from your storage card.

Same here, all you have to do is creat a "My Documents" folder on your storage card and copy them there. When you go back to your sound settings you'll find them available without the need for a copy on the root memory.

i didn't have to do a My Documents/My Ringtones... i just did a straight "My Ringtones" folder in ur SD card.. that worked for me.. Same goes for My Caller ID pix, etc, etc.. hope that helps too~ :D

it also worked for me in both ways:
- just put the ringtones directly in the SD root folder
- and put them into Storage Card\My Documents\My Ringtones\
what didn't work is to edit the registry keys (directly or with a software for tune the phone up)
i use Windows Mobile 6.1 pro (CE OS 5.2.20...) on a chinese cloned Pharos
thanks for helping guys!
