View Full Version : [Solved] G symbol always show after B&B4.0 Upgrade

Anyone can help me ?
Because the G symbol always show in my screen. Is it normal? I check all the setting. iam pretty shure that i disabled the GPRS on my phone,i treyed evey tools that kann deactivated GPRS but the G symbol always show in my screen :confused:

I have O2 Xda Orbit,befor i upgrade to B&B4.0 i had WM6 and there was no G symbol

The 'G' symbol only shows a GPRS connection is available, the 'G' with arrows mean it is connected.

after long searchring and traying i found the Solution, just changed 2 reg keys and after that there is no more G showed in Screen,

HKLM\Drivers\BuiltIn\RIL\GPRSAutoAttach to 0 and GPRSAutoDetach to 1.

after long searchring and traying i found the Solution, just changed 2 reg keys and after that there is no more G showed in Screen,

Thanks for this - adding it to the fairly long list of hacks I find useful, though largely cosmetic.
