When you flash a new ROM, you will loose all your data!!! take this in consideration. So, you will make a full reisntallation of all your personals applications

1: To Enable The 6 Tab: (but the vibrate bug will be back too)

-Use XP not Vista

Here is my wish list (anyway your rom is fantastic).

1)Ive tried bepe wwe ROM, and in HTC Homeplug the music tab is working as a ringtone selection (sound, vibrate, etc.), i rather prefer this, but is only my wish.(editing the registry IT WORKS in 3.3 !!)

2) Another sugestion from bepes rom, in COMM mAnager there is a button to switch on and off 3g, this is a nice feauture as well. (EDited: Just installed 3.3 and already includes this feature, works perfect !)

I have two questions

In French version appears build 18125.0.4.2 but in Spanish still 17944.0.3.1, this is correct?

And small bug, in htchomepluguin both first icons does not appear, battery and rotate screen.

Don't Worry by that error, only you have that to close the window and to return to execute the update of the ROM and always works. Don't unplugin the triny of usb.

I have already solved it. If it has to do something but I do not say to you since I have solved it. I have several devices with its respective MiniUSB cables. Then I use one almost always and the others I keep them. Now the disorder has arrived the summer and with it. I have changed the cable and has worked. I do not mean that this is a solution, but to my it has worked to me. Greetings

I've been trying your roms since version 3.2, but keeping a eye on them time ago, good job. I like to see that everytime you post a new rom lot of things are fixed/added. IMHO the removal of PocketCM on version 3.3 is ok, cause I didn't like it, a it was hard to put back again the common contacts manager.

I've the same problem when install the fix "BT Headset VOICE DIAL FIX for all versions". The BT Headset it solves, but camera not function.

Before the fix the buttons config appear:
- Botón 1: Marcado de voz rápido
- Botón 2: Cámara
- Botón 1 (Mant...): Grabadora

And after the fix:
- Botón 1: Marcado de voz rápido
- Button 4 (Press & Hold): Cámara
- Button 4: Voice Speed Dial
- Botón 1 (Mant...): Grabadora

The Button 4 puts "Cámara", but we pressed, the option is white. Reassign the button works correctly.

I've another problem, when I do a normal reset, sometimes it loses devices BT associate and it returns to me to request the password. Has happened to somebody?

One thing I had forgotten. My Motorola S9 Bluetooh Headfones worked fine in WM5. When I connect in WM6 appears a little problem: connection OK but whe I play a song it sounds with little interruptions. Bug or problem of WM6?

prophessor, then only you need to install CAB files, (or how I do) is transfer to SD and afterwards open "explorador de archivos" find the CAB file and press on it. It automatically install.

Yes, I have the same problem. Some times in a soft reset, the pda loses the configuration of the mail and gprs. Other times nothing is lost with a soft reset. This problem is with the 3.x version (3.3 too).

It a problem of the base rom. Remember to power off after configuring all connections.

I've been testing this new radio version since sunday, it seems to work better than 1.46.
GPS is fixed with less than 2 minutes.
Wifi works good with my access point.
GSM and 3G works good.
Bluethooth seems to work well but i couldn't test it with other devices only with my pc.

I'm trying to cook a lighter version of your ROMs, but i face a problem, a lot of .rgu files are missing, i guess this is in order to reduce a litle bit the size.

Is it posible for you to upload the "uncooked" ROM somewhere or at least the rgu files.

At this moment, I'm a bit annoyed with the loud volume of this rom (3.3) specially while calling. Everybody hear themselves when talking to me, and I have to keep the speaker a few centimeters away from my ear. Of course I have the lowest volume set.

Is there any registry hack to low down the volume or it is a rom hack?

I want to ask you if you can fix te problem with the push email and internet push from vodafone in wm6. The problem is that we can receive mails etc, but can not surf internet with IE or opera with WM6...

I have installed FAMAN last ROM v3.3.ES, with radio 1.33.00.01. Everything works fine, but TomTom Navigator hangs 10 minutes after fixing GPS. With ROM 3.2 it worked fine.

Mila esker ;) I'm trying to cook my own rom from Famans and MovistarSpain.cab is very dificult to install so I'm searching for the reason Faman's proggie doesn't work. HTC has the cabs for every provider setting for months now. But I'm searching for the solution to Faman's prog.

I've read in the french forum that faman will release a french 3.4 version soon. I'm hoping that the spanish version will be released a couple of days after.

-I have a 3.3 spa version, and i've found what I think is a bug in the contact manager. When you select properties of a contact a select the option videocall, y starts simply a normal voice call.

-The icon on the left of antenna range, that should be a 'G' for GSM or '3G' for UMTS has always the icon of a interrupted connection, only when I cold start the triny shows the adequate icon.

Someone has had this lil' problems ?

I have installed FAMAN last ROM v3.3.ES, with radio 1.33.00.01. Everything works fine, but TomTom Navigator hangs 10 minutes after fixing GPS. With ROM 3.2 it worked fine.

I've heard FAMAN has some problem with 3.4ES integration. Hope he manages to solve that, and we got our 3.4ES soon. Personally I can't handle with connection registry deletion so I hope some solution to that.

No, Not identical lenght but especially in menu, if lenght is too big, all the words will not appear.

I'm trying to be patient about 3.4 ES, but my Triny FAMAN 3.2 has decided not to sincronize with my two pcs, nor with Xp neither Vista. It works perfectly with Exchange server by GPRS or WiFi, but the As or the Mobile Center don't do anything when I connect the Triny.

I've tried a lot of things in PDA and PCs, but for the hard reset (the only solution I still haven't done) I preffer wait to the 3.4.

One time more, thanks to FAMAN and all the people that do this resources possible.

I'm having some "extrange" behaviours of my otherwise nearly perfect 3.3 Trinity
1.- From time to time, Active sync erases some of the options selected, with no way to re-select them, neither on the PC´s nor the PDA, other tan deleting the PC (in the PA's AS options) and re-pairing again (Over USB). Recently part of my favourites list dissappeared, deleting in the way the favourites in my PC when Syncing!
2.- since a few days, activating calendar, opens in month view, no matter what you select, during some milliseconds it starts as instructed (Week view in my case) then month view overlaps the screen, Is it a WM6 failure os you have any other report in your ROM?

- Had some problems with taskmgr, ended disabling it.
- Pim Backup restores my contact backups ok.

Hi Faman!
I’d like to explain you a problem that I have concerning ALL your WM6 ROMs for the HTC P3600 (trinity) when I use it with my OEM Bluetooth hands free at the car.
First of all, I have to tell you that I have checked this matter with another exactly same OEM Bluetooth hands free at another car, with exactly same result.
The problem is the following: when I’m in the car, with PDA paired with Bluetooth H/F, when I receive an incoming call and I hang up call, there is a period of about 6-7 seconds that sound of call (speaker and micro) are kept at PDA (I can hear weakly through the PDA speaker). After being 6-7 seconds saying “hello? Hello? like an idiot… sound is transferred to car H/F and then car speaker & car micro works…
That’s to say: the sound of the call (micro & speaker) is NOT transferred to H/F car until 6-7 seconds later after I take the call.
One more thing for your info: with same pda and same car, this problem DOES NOT happen with the official HTC WM5 ROM. In this case, as soon as I take the call, the sound is over car speakers and car micro works perfectly. And as stated, I have checked this matter with a friend that has same car and same pda, and we have exchanged cars & pdas, and it ALWAYS happens with the WM6, but NEVER with WM5.

I’d be glad to have WM6 on my trinity, but I make an intensive use of pda in the car, and I cannot be screaming “Hello, hello?” for 6-7 seconds after I take a call, since in most of cases, people hang off phone…

Do you have any idea about we can solve it?

I have a minor problem that has been draggin in all implementations of WM since version 5, BT Active Sync profile option/services dissappears as soon as any other device is paired wuth the PDA.
I was able to solve that making a HR and then pairing my PDA with my laptop BT prior to anything else, (The AS option was there)
With your 3.3 ROM the AS option is no longer there, and the Serial port profile (My dongle uses) doesn't work.
Any idea or help?

It seemed so nice, with the new apps, Voice2go and the rest..... and then after installation, the "debacle" began.

Screen hungs, literally the HTC app gets frost, showing a permanent incorrect time... (different from the "internal" clock), not downloading the weather...

Then Voice2go app.... adding some dial commands to my 3000+contacts list took .... MINUTES for every contact!
Using BT headsets to Voice dial? No way, it's not supported, so you can voice dial only via the assigned PDA button ....or the totally unpredictable recognition of Voice2go.....
No AS over bluetooth, and a dozen minor bugs (many probably NOT RELATED TO Faman cooking....)

I've returned to the 3.3, at least it's fully operational.

I'm so sorry after all the effort Faman has indeed throw in the upgrade! Is it just me or everybody else encountered the same problems?

I do, it doesn't work on my phone, curiously 3.01 worked just fine. When I install BBConect 4 on this one y loose the initial screen with the time and all that, and connection fails.

After four days with the 3.4 ES installed, everything is working correctly. I don't use bluetooth, but MMS, GPRS, 3G, WIFI, HTC Home, TomTom, Bandswitch 1.2, Spb Weather, Pocket Contacts 0.15, sync with Xp and Vista, and some other functions works perfectly.

I had a problem with the dialer skin (I don't know if was the ROM or some software), but I installed a new one and everything is ok.

Very happy with this ROM. FAMAN is the best.
Can you add a fridge plenty of beers in the next version? :-))

In version 3.3 I got up to four BT headset/hands free devices working OK, listed in my signature.

I come up to some conclusions after a bit of research:
- BT voice dial fails due to Voice2go, Cyberon worked flawlwesly (after patching 3.3)
- Softkey is responsable for some of the misbehaviours of soft buttons, included the calendar "jump" to month view. - If you call calendar through the windows menu, it starts as instructed (Week or day view), when called via Soft button, it overrides the setting and goes to month view. No options to get rid of this, even an emptied calendar does the same jump.

On bt headset, Motorola S9 working fine....Anyway many problems with Bluetooth. Syncronization lost many times with diferent Parrots car mobile handsfree. Curiously, after loosing connection with Parrot, this seems blocked and some seconds later reconnects again. Little bit crazy...

Yes, mobilejustice will be in the rom.

No, Voice2Go is removed cause it not provide BT voice dial, but i'll post the cab. (no problem of compatibility with both installed)

I don´t have problems with voice2go with a Jabra and don´t know if is a good idea not include in your new 3.5 version. Is a good program for me.

Maybe you can included a program to customize HTC Home like "HTCHomecustomizer" I found here: http://www.ipmart-forum.com/showthread.php?t=183016&highlight=htc+home+customizer

I include the cab if you want to test it.

In other terms. I'm unable to install the new ROM from Windows XP. I'he tried to install it and it geaves me the same error message.

The error is the same With RapidShare file and with the other.

In english the erro message could be something like:"The image file is corrupt: Chech the update utility"

Same case MMS no found. V3.3 is the best in all. This 3.5 same frezze but low. Frezze in WL's Sync and some times sending SMS. I like the 3.3 for SMS/MMS in one.

Hi Faman,

First, thanks for this rom. In Spanish, roms only are in WM5.
I have some issue with parrot hansfree in car. After pair the devices with bluetooth, in some cases, the parrot puts in speech mode, mapping continuously the audio channel. Anybody has this problem?

As far as I've seen Faman has rounded the best wm6 spanish ROM yet. Will keep checking it for the next days, but I'm really impressed on how fast he has fixed the 3.4 bugs.

Put yourself in Mensajes>MMS>Bandeja de Entrada and then select Nuevo, it should start the MMS composer.
It installed trouble free in my system.
See no reeason for that not to be installed in yours.

Radio ROM can be changed at any moment WITHOUT loosing your apps/data.
Faman includes a Radio ROM that can be upgraded any time later.

I don't like sending MMS messages (too expensive IMHO) but I will check.
BTW you should check your carrier policies and your selected options for MMS/Data, I have them REMOVED in my company. I mean the company I work for.

Please, read a bit the forum, or better yet, read the wiki.
You can download most Radio ROM's in a package that includes all the needed utilities to perform the upgrade.
Just execute the .exe file, and once decompressed, run RomUpgradeUtilitiy.

I still have problems with MMS. I updated the ROM and RADIO. Now let me send an MMS but not let me get them. It connects to the GPRS but not download the message and stay connected to the GPRS all the time. Is there any solution to my problem? The version of 3_4 FAMAN for MMS is better than the version 3_4

Yes, it's a known problem of all the rom.
but try this,
1 Start a GPRS EDGE WIFI connection
2 Open a web page with IE
3 disconnet
4 Full power off
5 boot and try

a new version will be released soon, i'm working on...
I will make a light too but only when i'll make all the cabs, so wait a little.

thank you for your "big" work.
I’d like to explain you a problem that I have concerning ALL your WM6 ROMs for the HTC P3600 (trinity) when I use it with my OEM Bluetooth hands free at the car.
First of all, I have to tell you that I have checked this matter with another exactly same OEM Bluetooth hands free at another car, with exactly same result.
The problem is the following: when I’m in the car, with PDA paired with Bluetooth H/F, when I receive an incoming call and I hang up call, there is a period of about 6-7 seconds that sound of call (speaker and micro) are kept at PDA (I can hear weakly through the PDA speaker). After being 6-7 seconds saying “hello? Hello? like an idiot… sound is transferred to car H/F and then car speaker & car micro works…
That’s to say: the sound of the call (micro & speaker) is NOT transferred to H/F car until 6-7 seconds later after I take the call.
One more thing for your info: with same pda and same car, this problem DOES NOT happen with the official HTC WM5 ROM. In this case, as soon as I take the call, the sound is over car speakers and car micro works perfectly. And as stated, I have checked this matter with a friend that has same car and same pda, and we have exchanged cars & pdas, and it ALWAYS happens with the WM6, but NEVER with WM5.

I’d be glad to have WM6 on my trinity, but I make an intensive use of pda in the car, and I cannot be screaming “Hello, hello?” for 6-7 seconds after I take a call, since in most of cases, people hang off phone…

Do you have any idea about we can solve it?

sorry. My carrier is Vodafone and the MMS configuration have been provided by the aplication of FAMAN ROM. You only have to choose your carrier and all will be configured.

remember that you have to configure the user and password too of the WAP configuration: wap@wap -- wap125.

to complete the configuration, try to send yourself a MMS: in Vodafone it´s free 10 times.

In my work we use a wifi with the next configuration:

WPA2 -> AES - CCMP ->PEAP -> MSCHAP-V2 with a validate server certificate.

Well, when i am connecting to WIFI through laptop with XP i input my credentials:

user -> password -> domain.

Well i install the server certificate in my triny but dosen´t work.

1.- with default wifi configuration tool, when i choose PEAP the triny say that i need a personal certificate ?¿?¿?¿? and don´t appear the MSCHAP-V2 in any option?¿?¿

2.- i have install secure W2 but neither work.


anybody have achieved connect whit this configuration with triny? what third party software you have used?¿?¿'

I tried your version 3.5 and it was great, even If I found two bugs. The first is that when you set up a key code for access, after reboot it doesnt recognize the code you just entered. The other bug was that after configuring a pair of pop3 email acounts and usin them several times, I don't know how or when the configurations disapears but when I try to configure them again, I can't because the PDA sais thay they already exist. The problem with the key code still happends on your new release, I will tell you if the email bug appears again.
