Update not working??

I updated my o2 xda mini s to wm6 (or so I thought) but i won't seem to run. It installs the rom ok to 100% but then restarts back into wm5. What am i doing wrong??

Done that with lokwiz but how do you know if it worked. I tried to flash to wm6 again, it got to 100% and booted back into wm5. I know something has changed cause the initial startup screens before you get to the wm screen has changed. Please help.

Go to Start> Settings > System> About.

Mine is Windows mobile 6 professional

Mine phone is also cid-locked. U can flash ur cid-locked g4 with shelltool.But be carefull with picking a rom, it musnt include ipl/spl and must be for g4 devices. NBD 8.3 works perfect on locked g4s.

Please read all sticky treads about G4 adn upgradin, cause u can brick ur phone > u can literally throw it away.

Thanks but where can I get shelltool from? I have googled it and I'm not sure on the results.

when you google for it, be site specific for this site, like so:

if that doesn't work you can always browse the forum! I bet one of those "THIS IS HOW TO FLAS H TO A G4 READ FIRST" sticky posts have the information you are looking for.

on that note, a collaboration of people with some time on their hands could revamp the wizard wiki pages, because I'd rather read the concrete information on there than scroll through several threads and posts! i'm going to start gathering information, will any of you extensive-knowledge people join me?
