Hey Folks,
I lost my Trinity P3600 (branded Dopod D810) so I'll be getting the upgraded Trinity (P3600i) in a few weeks as a replacement.
Just wondering...the ROM is reported as being 256MB with 160MB usable meaning that the operator ROM is taking up a whopping 96MB. Seems like a lot to me.
Ordinary Trinity has 128MB of ROM and after a hard reset you'll generally have 50 - 60MB free meaning the ROM is only taking up 68 - 78MB; a lot less than the P3600i.
I was hoping that when I get P3600i I could get some help in extracted the original ROM image (which I will then upload if anyone wants it) before I flash to a ROM that gives more storage space.
I want to have the original just in case there is stuff I need on the original ROM or if something goes wrong and I need to return device for service.
Also, as far as I know the P3600i is just a souped up trinity so there should be no issues with SSPL etc... right?
Cheers
