hmm, the ROM is dated August 4th and larger than the last official build. Bobbb where did this come from? which radio comes with it?

Guys, I can assure you that it's the latest official version downloaded for Dopod's Australian site.

ROM version: 3.00.707.18
ROM date: 07/24/07
Radio version: 1.46.30.11
Protokol version: 32.79.7020.19H

By the way, this ROM upgrade is bringing no trouble in comparison to Cooked versions that I have already tried al of them.
HSPDA enabled, VoiP on, Video Call on, everything is running smoothly.

But, be sure that before proceeding with upgrade you, it's present latest HARD SPL -Des, etc. on you PPC.

Im using this rom too and it is indeed the official version, and works well! only thing i missing from WM5 is the Voice Call, where can i get that? Im using Jabra BT a lot and want the voice call ;) or was it Voice dial? :)

Hello,

i have the modified Dopod-ROM from crab http://www.ppc-welt.info/community/showthread.php?t=115290 installed.
Now i can not install the sdkcerts.cab.
The installation aborts with install unsuccessfull. No other error.

Have other People with original Dopod Rom the same problem?

Can somebody post me an export of HKLM\Security\Policies\Policies from a device that can install the sdkcerts?

This is WWE WM6 ROM and can be updgraded to all Trinities no matter of which operator you are subscribed.

I'd stick to v1.20, found here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=1435464&postcount=85). Some have been having problems with v1.30 with radio flashing and some other things. Or just try with v1.30 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=299659) first. Up to you.

yes, it's present on WIKI's page but it comes with SPL, so if your PPC is not a branded DOPOD device you will stick at 28% while you make an attempt to upgrade.

The link is working, maybe you are the only one having some issues with the downloading, don't give up easily, try a few more times.

haven't tried this one yet but was thinking that it might be a wise choice since all the cooked ROMs are done by individuals rather than a company hence have a lot more bugs in them...this is not to undermine mUn's, bepe's and other's good work, they all are very capable its just that when you put more manpower into it the final result is more refined. Thats my two cents for now...
I was using lysw's wm6 ROM, recently switched to mUn's INDIGO lite, found a good few bugs in both of them so will give the official ROM a go now.
Who knows, I might be proved wrong...anyway, P3600 is still the best :)

Hi,
I'm using this rom from the beginning and I cannot complain except for the fact the after a number of restarting (power off, power on) it stop working and I'm forced to restore the original default and restart alway from zero.
Did someone have the same issue? How can I avoid? thanxs

I have managed to flash this ROM. Everything is running perfect for the past 24-hrs. I only notice something, and am not sure what's causing it. Sometimes, when I tap on an icon in Programs or Settings, instead of opening the requested app / setting the start menu pops up. Anyone else experienced this?

I have installed nothing on this ROM except Resco Explorer. I have activated HTC-X button to close on tap. Other than that, this is a stable version for me.

The other things, we can refine it anyway.

edit: thought you guys should know. It is a AlenSoft QuickMenu bug.

Even I am not able to find. It should have been in Comm Manager as 'IP Phone'.
