~. It will install .~
Core folder on the system drive. Some tools and settings required.
HyperCore folder on the Desktop. There is your kitchen. You can move it wherever you want.
The place where you actually use it is HyperCore\Panel.


~. How To .~
- First of all edit the file named "Device.txt" located on the "Core\ACK\" folder located on systemdrive (mostly drive C:\)
Edit as following.
If you have a :
HTC Wizard : " set device=Wizard "
HTC Hermes : " set device=Hermes "
HTC Artemis : " set device=Artemis "
HTC Herald : " set device=Herald "
HTC Universal : " set device=Universal "
HTC Trinity : " set device=Trinity "
HTC Prophet : " set device=Prophet "
Save it and then you're good to go.
It's much similar to the old Core kitchen...so those of you who used it ...will feel comfortable with it. Regenerated batch scripts, better, and i hope bug free.

I suggest having a ROM to make a backup in case you do something wrong
I created and tested this tool for WindowsMobile 6 , but WM5 should work OK too.

I can only hope that it works :D Sorry, didn't had time to test it with a Prophet ROM...but from what i understood...it's pretty similar to the Wizard...so, i keep my fingers crossed.
nadlal_mk told me that cooked rom's don't work with RUU, so, now you have the option of selecting G3, G4 and with the 'manual' Upgrade_ROM.bat

Convert it to nk.nbf
Start the BuildOS located in HyperCore\Panel\Build and start the nb2nbf...well i hope that works, but you must type Prophet instead of Wizard. Follow directions and you'll have the nk.nbf in the RUU folder.

Hi everyone.

I want to cook my own qtek s200 \ i mate jamin \ prophet rom in turkish. But I have some problems. Also I editted a rom for mpx200 which name is Wm6 crossbow v3 ( it is look like wm6 but original its wm5)

anyway I am not expert.

ı have turkish mui files I tried all ways but I am not succeeded.

Here is the ways that I tried

1) I dumped the rom using hypercore. First I dumped nk.nbf and I get os.nb - gsm.nb - spl_1.nb - spl_2.nb and extension.nb.

After using Dump .nb and .bin.exe files to dump os.nb I get the dump folder. I copied all 41f mui files to dump and I made necessary changes at the .hv files.

After that using hypercore\panel\extract\build Rom.exe I gathered the rom and when I press 2 nb2nbf.exe and I run the nbtonbf converter.

I change the device name wizard to prophet
language : wwe


#file1 I choose os.nb 80040000 address
#file2 I choose gsm.nb 96000000 address
#file3 I chhose extension.nb 9b000000 adress but there is no place to select extension.nb in image name box at that tool.
#file4 I chhose spl_2.nb 91000000 address

But sometimes the installations stcuck %98 or it installed but stuck at splash screen

How I put the nb files order to get correct rom?

Why there are 2 spl.nb which names spl_2 and spl_2?

2nd Way

I make a extencison.nb to use HTC extension rom maker. I have a cab files that contains mui files. I add that cab files to extension.nb

Start nb2nbf.eexe and put the all nb files to order.
But I am naot successfull

just copy the os.nb to extract folder onhypercore

1) panel / extract / bin - nb dump (must be something like that) ( if you apple secon step it back up the roms and will creat a folder named xdump
2) xdump contains dump / packages / imgfs files
3) move everything at the xdump folder to hyoercore / extract folder
4) you can edit anything at the dump folder
5) to rebild rom just panel/extra/buildos
6) it will rebuild the rom and you can fnd your cooked rom at the hypercore/extract folder named os.nb

This kitchen main purpose is to cook the OS, not the Extended Rom. BUT, you still have some tools that can help you do that in HyperCore\Panel\Extra.
When you extract the ROM, check if it also extracted the Extended Rom also. If the ROM you're using doesn't have one, the find one for your device, Open it with either WinImage or HTC Extended ROM Builder.exe (I don't know which works for you, I don't own a Prophet)

You should get a tutorial for that from someone that knows how it's done specifically for your device.

As you may have probably read in the first post, the kitchen is not designed for HTC Touch, however, people reported that it works with the Artemis settings. So, write there Artemis. Good luck !

I never heard of that before. Try to re-download the kitchen.

i've hacked the exe (my win partition is broken so i've done it via linux) removed infected upx and updated with latest version available (upx302w)

This kitchen is pretty much useless atleast for Prophet. It says "there's no nk.nbf file in extract directory" even though it's there. Maybe you ruined this kitchen while removing the trojan?

No, this kitchen is good.
You have to copy your nk.nbf file in "..\HyperCore\Extract\Source" but before append "Prophet" to "C:\Core\ACK\Device.txt". Now you can dump rom Panel -> Extract -> 1.Dumprom)

Yes it is Vista, the kitchen assumes standard filepathes based on XP naming. In other words, you can't use this kitchen (yet) with Vista. I did read a while ago that the author started a project to adapt it, but never seen or heard the outcome.

No it's not as simple as that ! you have to rebase the xip dll using xipport and M'reloc. you have to overwrite your rebased xip.bin into the original trinity os.nb file. it's usually the second partition of os.nb.

some of the files in xip are device specific , so you can't just change those.

You have also to edit the "mxip_oem_translation_0409.provxml"! Remove the WkTASK string and don't forget to decrease the counter by one for each removed shortcut in that file in the fifth line!

Little example:
from - <parm name="TotalApplets" value="8" datatype="integer"/>
to - <parm name="TotalApplets" value="7" datatype="integer"/>




After that, WkTASK isn't appearing any more! :)

Did you convert Explorer extension to a package i don't use this kitchen but i think it will be the same i have added the package i use and i know works so good luck with your cooking :)
