Did anyone manage to get this weather plugin to work with Tmobile tzones ($5.99) internet? I tried to search for this issue but couldn't find a clear answer.

I works fine via ActiveSync or Wireless internet - but no go for t-zones proxied connection.

If I understood correctly, you would like to load the weather data over T-mobile. Correctly?

If, functions perfectly. Only select city and completely.

Or did you want another program, in place of the HTC weather Plugin?

Describe nevertheless please times which as much money costs there.

I am not safe me whether I you correctly understood.

I think you need to learn the English language a little better, before you try to help others... hehe  I have no idea what you're talking about!

There's a fix for it. Someone created a server for the HTC plugin to get its data from and it works through TMobile (tzones or not). Read the HTC Home plugin threads around here and I'm sure you'll find a cab...

As far as I know - SPB uses it's own weather plugin. I'd like to use HTC home weather.

Yes, that what's happening to me. There is a thread for HTC Home weather fix, but it looks like the author is rarely responding to peoples questions. Yes, he created a modified cab file that uses one of his servers to re-route the data, but somehow it's not working. I believe it's because of t-mobile tzone internet is using proxied access. On the regular internet access (thru WIfI or wireless lan or activesync) the plugin works great.

Is there a lucky person who managed to get this plugin to work on T-mobile USA tzones internet?

juzzie: the 6tab cab worked for me on this t-mobile plan:$29.99/month, Unlimited w/o VPN, internet2.voicestream.com. And U'r right, it looks like the owner of that thread has left the building!

Yep, I know. It's working on T-mobile data plans. But I'm using tzones which is a proxied connection.

To tell you honestly - I gave up. I tried Fizz weather and it works like a charm. It offers far better weather related services and takes only a thin bar on the home screen. You just have to configure it properly: I'm using 2 days forecast including current weather.

I been trying for a long time now everyday to find the answer to Tmobile USA not being able to use the htc plugin weather program. I myself have full access internet 29.99. sometime it will load it, some times it wont. Maybe its where your at? check the tmobile site www.tmobile.com to see how is your signal. If everyone can come up with a test simple it would be faster to figure it out. Developers neeed help and imput. good luck

yeah, the modified cabs of the HTC weather plugin will only work on a non-proxied connection. I'm having the same trouble, and have tried everything out there.

N2A (creator of the modified HTC weather server) goes thru port 80 which is blocked on $5.99 T-zones, so thats where we suffer.

As far as SPB mobile shell goes, does it integrate with HTC Home tabs? or is it something on its own? any screen captures available?

Well maybe you can ask the guy nicely to make another dll for you that will connect to his server using a different port ! :D

I would also recommend WeatherPanel with the "son of commuter 240" theme. It's just an awesome combination...

Hi, I recently changed a HTC Touch (T-mobile GER) around completely to get rid of the (for me) unwanted carrier specifics of the original Rom. I Backuped the Ext Rom in which I came across the attached cab (I frankly don't have any idea what it does - all other contents were merely hompage setting or spftkey changer app...)

Since Tmob found it useful to play with the weather, maybe someone could see what's inside. Maybe it could solve the problem.
Cheers, Chris
