I noticed there was a problem on the FLV plugin I downloaded for TCPMP, and it's affecting yours too.

Although mine asked me where it wanted to be installed, the CAB only contains two files - both of which are hard coded to be installed to /Program Files/TCPMP folder. Fine if that's where you installed TCPMP, not so if you installed it to /Extended_ROM/Program Files/TCPMP (as I had).

I modified the CAB I downloaded to fix this, and have attached it.

After you installed it TO THE SAME PLACE YOU INSTALLED TCPMP, open TCPMP and select File Associations for MMS and FLV (and possibly HTTP, can't remember). Then it'll play any FLV you download, and anything from http://www.mobytube.net (cracking site!).

All credit to original authors, of course!

For me TCPMP doesn't start when I clicked in a video. Just nothing happens.
It used to work since I installed the latest Schap's rom 3.60. I did the file association thinks..
Any idea?

Thanks

Just visit this site HERE (http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=196939) download the cab file, and it should sort your problems. :)

The only other answer is that your service provider has stopped allowing this kind of activity via your data plan, I know that T-Mobile UK have. Check the online conditions small print.

I'm on ATT and it has stopped working for me as well. Had it working fine for like 3 days last week then this weekend I typed youtube.com in my pocket explorer and it redirected me to m.youtube.com which it did not last week. Also none of the videos are streaming anymore I doubleclick only to have it in "thinking process" TCPMP doesnt get launched.

I'm using WAP.CINGULAR.COM no access to ISP.CINGULAR.COM as I have the PDA personal max with 1500 free text messages a month. Can someone confirm that ISP.CINGULAR.COM redirects to m.youtube.com as well and does the TCPMP flash plugin still work on youtube.com or m.youtube.com?

You can get around the re-direct by chosing classic view.

Some people have mentioned that youtube changed something in their system and that it has nothing to do w/ us. Until someone comes up with a fix for this, a great alternative would be to access youtube through www.mobytube.net . It seems to have all the youtube files on there.

Ciao.
Ok, Sorry to hear that.
I have used the different methods that Menneisyys
advizes in his tutorials and each worked, so see if this helps.Check it out here:

Also, I see some other data on this subject, that youtube had modified something this week that was giving some people trouble.(and that a fix for that is coming soon). See here:

Good Luck, green ;)

If you have TCPMP installed, simply install this CAB file : http://rapidshare.com/files/51744918/FlashVideoBundle-v1-2.zip.html

You tube works on IE no problem when I am connected to WIFI and it plays stand alone FLV files as well.

Hope this helps

For those that have their device working fine until recently ... I read at this thread that :

"" Youtube has started redirecting mobile-client requests to their mobile site, so use the following link to access the full youtube site: http://www.youtube.com/?nomobile=1 ""

I've been trying to get this to work for a week now, and this file helped. I installed on storage card (as TCPMP is installed there, vp3g 3.0) and it works now...I had tried other links without luck. Also, the "change" is simply that the youtube site detects PIE and sends you to the mobile site. The plugin appears to work fine. Works over 3G which is sweet! the iphone users will be thrilled!

Edit: btw I am trying to get it working with Opera Mini which IMHO is like a million times better than PIE...but it doesn't load the mms protocol =/
