Is there any app that you guys know of that does automated calls? Like wake up calls.

SKScheMa is a type of scripting tool for WMx. It will take bit of reading to figure it out, but it's capable of doing quite a few neat things, including what you're looking for.
Not free, but not very expensive IIRC.
