Sup,

I bought a Qtek 9000 and it came with a Holux GPSlim 240 Bluetooth GPS Receiver. It only came with the receiver and nothing else (no manual, no cd, nothing). So now I have no clue on how to use it. I went to the Holux website and downloaded the manual but its no help. None of what they're showing in the settings are what I have. It looks like the manual is for WM2003, but I'm running WM5.
The phone came pre-installed with Garmin Que and GPSProxy. I have no clue how to use any of these programs. When I load GPSProxy and try to add a new virtual COM port, I get an error saying "Failed to load driver for new virtual COM port. There may not be a free COM port number.".
So if any of you know how to set this stuff up, tell me how.

Thanks all.

hello

with what gps software are you tryuing to use the receiver?
most of the time u have to connect it through bt at first

after that u can create a outgoing port ( i noticed that the first 5 dont work) , i used com port 7

after that u open the settings for gps in the program that you would us en set the settings for the holux receiver as you can find in the manual.

That should do it

greetzzz
