no, because you need an orange-branded os update (which to my knowledge doesn't exist... yet). If you try another official firmware update (ex dopod), that has service provider lock (SPL) checking, it will also not work, and risk bricking your device.

i suggest you look at cooked versions.

I did upgrade my M700 with the AX3L rom and its working fine in the beginnibg had some problems but today after I installed the 3.0.6 rom its working verry well.
I have fidled a little around with it today and didn't discover any faillure until now.

and you should set aside a whole day for reading. Then you'll be well equipped and can get going on SIM unlocking, flashing and all things nice!

haha,you underestimate me.I already flash rom to WM6 and unlock all locks. Thanks for this forum! Thanks for your kind reply!
