View Full Version : Charmer stuck in bootscreen.

Hi,

My charmer is stuck at the bootscreen after trying to flash the charmer_touch rom. First I did a cid unlock and then the update. It finished without errors.

Then I flashed the official AKU3 update from tmobile (because the charmer is tmobile germany branded). Flashed without problems (in bootloader mode) but then the same problem! Even with the AKU 2.x update.

When trying to hardreset I only get "format error".


What can I do?

Yeah, thanks. :) How can I integrate it in the RUU package? Because when I unpack the update and start it from somewhere of my HDD it won't work! Where is the standard directory to run it from?

you should place it in the same folder where the contents of the RUU were unpacked

The problem is, that I cant see/decide where the RUU is unpacking itself. When it unpacks and waits for my input, I tryed searching for the files that were unpacked, but no luck! Strange. :D

So, nevermind the previous problem with paths... figured it out (path was too long)

My new problem:

Updated with the no-id ruu but still format error :( what now?


Worked fine with prophet rom. :) CLOSED. ;)

can you tell me the rom you take to fix it

have the same problem Format failed and stop @ boot screen

after 1 % i get an nbf file error

i have
ipl 3.08
spl 3.08.0000
gsm 02.69.21
os 3.8.2.22

after hard reset i get format failed

what can i do??

i fix it
i get unlock code from imei-check
then CID unlock
and then i make sd card backup with MTTY_updateROM.exe
after next start it copy all back to the mda and now its all ok
and now format works
