I wondered about that too. The functionality is still there but you have to go into the menu to access it now. A little more inconvenient but certainly not a "show stopper".

That I'm not sure. Unfortunately I know as much about the technical side of mobile phones as I do about car engines (not very much).
You'll have to wait for someone more knowledgeable than I to help you. Although I like to look at my call history, I've found that I don't actually need it as much as I imagined.
Good luck ;)

Ok first off of course I want to say I love this very simple and fast ROM. A couple of more things I learned over the weekend.
1.) Keyboard symbols do not match up with the keys. Some do and some don't. I don't know if this is a problem with flashing cooked ROMS in general because it seems to be the same problem, for me that is. I've changed the keyboard to use English and Cingular and still not working.
2.) The extended symbols button (not sure what you call it "bluedot + sym button") no longer brings up a list of symbols but rather it brings up the on screen qwerty board. Is this right?
I'm using the Ultra Ultra Lite, I'll be reflashing to this current one right now.

I'm still testing the rom, I have been getting problems with acrosoft mms cab when install, sms worked but not mms, so I put it back in the rom so we lost the 4.5 mb I wanted. The good thing without the mms I install palm threaded sms and it works,
Do you guys want to vote for mms built in or one rom for people who dont neeed mms and one who wants?
Please vote guys or I should:) just build two roms

Way to miss the point of the thread. The point is a base rom where people can install what they want. Touch Dialer = installable by cab. Standard dialer = not installable.

I would really love to use this ROM, however something has been ripped from it which prevents BB Connect from working (and this is my must have app).
As soon as I flashed Shaps ROM, BB Connect started working again. :(

I've kept the supa dupa lite just love it.
But i noticed after installing the batter pack (change color) cab file which didn't work, the striped lines on the white background .. esp. on install screen.
I know that shows up due to some incompatibility with programs.
I've since uninstalled that cab but i still have that condition.
aside from a hard reset b/c soft resets didn't work. what are my other options.
the functionality is ok, i don't mind it, it's just that it is annoying.

Dutty,
I'm enjoying the ROM. I haven't had to do a Hard Reset in 3 days! I installed a cool dialer skin, and so far this rocks. Excellent battery life, too.
Two small things:
1 - The strangest thing happened today. The unit lost sound. Speakerphone would work, so it wasn't hardware... But I could play alarms; GPS talking; Voice Command; nothing. I have never seen this before in any of my four HTCs and dozens of ROMs. Anyone else experience this? It was fixed with a Reset.
2 - You mentioned in an earlier post to someone having problems if he installed spb plus in his device. I LOVE that app. LOVE the Today Page icons.
However, I KNOW this app does not play well with many ROMs lately. Can you recommend an app (besides the HTC Home one) that you use for a good today plug-in? (as well as better Close button control)?
I'd love to install spb plus, but somehow I think you will not recommend it due to memory leaks and other issues.
Can you recommend a tested app (today plugin like spb plus) that DOES play well with you ROM?
Thanx!

Hey!
Great work about the rom!!!
My Problem is that if i install the remote desktop cab and start remote desktop at first i can write computer, username & passwort.
If i dont enter the passwort and go to connect i see the windows xp logon screen and there is the problem i cannot write with the keyborad and with the thouchscreen keyboard?
I think ok ist only a bug at the logon screen and enter all data like username and pass bevore i click connect, all works i see my desktop and all icons, but if i go to start and click run command i can not write!
Please help i don't now what to do or what happents with the keyboard funktion @ remote desktop if i install it from a cap file!
Thanks Best Regards

OK, I thought i'd have better luck w/ the supa dupa lite. It started out well. In fact i had trouble w/ the ultra lite and the beta versions and i figured i'd go w/ the light.
Now, there was an issue w/ the battery program, which the phone mentioned was not certified. But all else was working fine. I uninstalled that program. But i did notice that stripped appearance of the screen background afterwards. So i knew there was something not right.
I also had trouble w/ the BT headset. Either it didn't pick up when i received a call or it wouldn't pick up when i'm dialing out. Now it's was intermittent. So i'm presuming it was the glitch that occurred before. But i need a more stable ROM.
I'm wondering did all the resource removal to gain more memory affect it's stability.
also noted that Pocket CM didn't work properly, again after that first glitch, so i'm presuming that first incompatibility problem started it all. :(

 I flash with the supa dupa beta with mms (before supa dupa) and when I read about the email problem... I teste and
I create one account (gmail) and when choose New... nothing happen, then I test New SMS and... nothing, and MMS work but I must create one on the section MMS and when I send is OK!... if I create one on the SMS/MMS when I send... stay on the Outbox forever (dont connect to a MMS connection).
I dont try create any accounts on the supa dupa but maybe have the some problem...!
I think @dutty shrink the ROM and fault something :( is my second tentative to stay on @dutty ROMs but now... maybe is better try another or revert to Schap's 3.54c.
I am unhappy now because I like the aspect and mutch free space... but without some apps work full... no way!

I think you are referring to the analog clock displayed on the Today Screen. This is an add-on in the additional CAB files called Kaiser-HTC-Home (or something like that.)

Hi.
I think it is something else as HTC is only digital I think and this is a smart analogue clock with date behind it.
It appears to have a much smaller footprint then HTC as well which makes it appealing.
