upgrading stuck at 6%

hi

i have an atom with corrupted ext rom (based on the other threads i read). my screen is always stuck at the o2 screen.

so decided to download the official rom from o2 website and flash it. but when it reaches stage 3: update extended rom it is always stuck at 6%..

how can i solve this? is memory card a must to flash the rom?

and cos i cannot reach the today screen and therefore cannot sync. so i did this through bootloader..

thank you for uploading it.. but still have the same problem.. stuck at 6%.. waited for 5min already.. still waiting.. will post again..

remove the battery and leave it for a while.. then try flashing in bootloader mode..

According to previous posts, when the DSUU failed to format the Extended ROM, it stuck at 6%. The only thing you can do is to try to flash again and again...

You have to flash for two time using the rom version 20060721WWE, all-older roms cannot solve the problem. This error caused by the bootloader.

The first time you flash with the rom 20060721WWE, it uses the old bootloader already in your phone. So it stop at 6% Extended rom but succeeded to write its new bootloader to your phone.

Then the 2nd time you flash, DSUU will use the 20060721WWE rom's bootloader and will have no error.
