This version has no cube.. but that thread looks intresting :) might want to do something with Prophet Touch V7

aaaaaahh so thats how they did add all the software :D and I remember now that it also adds a splash screen

yup, the first 2 splash screen are installed in the same way as we upgrade the ROM of a device, and the third splash its either installed by a .cab or directly replaced in the windows directory.

anyways first impression so far, seems fast and stable.

here are a few points i did notice:

1. beam is enabled by default
2. the blue overall theme of the rom is amazing, though the background is kinda dull.

this is something inbetween Touch and TNT.
the idea is to make it multi language.
It's also an alternative for those that are tiered of the black themes and the Cube.

The beta had TouchFLO so there is a good chance that this version also has it.

Works perfectly here. No problems. Installed all my stuff and got no error. Works smoothly. After flashing and working with the first boot after installing ext-rom it was laggy and so slow but after the next soft reset it performed fast and so continues. So people don't give up at the first round!

well the main differance will be that it's based on a new build OS 5.2.1620 Build 18125.0.4.2 so it should be faster and more stabel some of the apps will be updated and maybe I'll do a differant color I will not add many new apps because there isn't much more room... maybe if I do it the way PDAMOBIZ has done I can add lots of stuff to the extrom of WM5 and this way have more room in the rom it self.
But I'll take it one step at a time

nanoscopic is very stable rom, I'm using it 24 hours and I've installed in all my favourite soft and all is ok

I think the blue colour that gollum has used is fantastic, it looks actual and nice

the sound quality is awesome,i mean listening music via headset,i think that pbar is not functional...htc x button is better solution,pbar does not closes everything.great rom at all,wi-fi ok,bt ok,battery drain ok.keep it that way gullum,you are the man :) if you can use some blue cube in this rom it will be just ... don't have to correct word to say it :)

Hi Gullum,

Nice to try your Nanoscopic but seems the battery indicator was mistaken, if i charge my pda 100% capacity , the battery drain very fast until about 65% then the battery drain so slow.
I tried my PDA to using another ROM from PV, the problem didn't occured in it.

btw, i love your keyboard layout. Appreciate if you can take it a part into cab files so i can flash to another ROM, Please ...

charging,USB n etc. all doin greatly.....i think this da most stable ROM i tested so far.......so not planin to flashed other ROM,since i've found my workin witout anybug at all.....

Gullum: I do'nt know if you have the bluettoth stack that comes with the Ozone. It works with nanoscopic v1 and provides more services. Could you incorporate to your releases?

P.D. you must soft reset after install for BTStack work on a running ROM...

1) Memeory card gets inaccessible if prophet goes in standby off and only a soft reset is solution

2)Video captured via camera cant be previewed in windows media player from camera function itself.

1) I think the problem comes from your hardware (Memory card pin out is dirty)

No, videos r stored in phone mem. and what i mean, dont quit camera after shooting just press button "view in wnidows Media".

2.I can not see my contacts on ppc,cause whenI press button for contacts,empty contacts collumns show for the moment and today screen appear
3. Cube works great,but when some apps,like message,phone,calendar etc. cannot be started,they are not >>signed with trusted certificate,or one of its component cannot be found<< ??!!

Can somebody help me,it is obvious that I missed something??

You need to do a hard reset this contact problem only acours when the flash is not ended with a hard reset. there are 2 ways of doing this.
1. press camera + comm manager button and stick stylus in the reset hole beside the usb port... release the stylus while still holding camera and comm manager button .... a text is displayed on screen.. release bouth buttons and press the answer phonecall button (green one)

2. so to start>settings>system>clear storage type 1234 in the box and press yes

in bouth cases the phone will clear everything and start clean... but contacts will work and no error mesage with active sync about memory.

3. hem there is no cube in this rom

yes you can flash Nanoscopic to your device no problem I have a Qtek S200 myself

and yes you can go back wm5 no problem

but just to be shure you can go back to the shiped rom make shure that you have it or can download it. and don't upgrade IPL/SPL because upgrading IPL/SPL can give problems getting back to the original shiped rom.... but don't worry this Nanoscopic will not upgrade IPL/SPL ..

I'm sorry to say that I don't know why some have problems with SD card and some do not... the only thing I can think of is that card's are manifactured by many differant companies and the driver in my rom or some WM6 roms are not compadible with the sd card's by some manyfactures

can you open contacts ?
if not then you'll need to hard reset that memory message is usualy related to not a proper hard reset has been made

Hi Gullum,
very nice ROM.
I had an issue : I installed it yesterday and after this I made a hard reset to my device as mentioned. This morning I tried to charge it using my car charger (It has a usb connector and I connect to this the s200 using the qtek's usb cable for activesync). No charge at all and instead of this I had a 1% loss every about 5 minutes. I tried a usb connection to a pc and same issue there.
Then I finally did a soft reset. After the HTC welcome screen it stuck for some minutes to the screen thich says the IPL/SPL etc versions. I pressed the off button at the right side, after this a soft reset and the problem solved. I didn't have the same issue with V6.
2nd issue which I think will help someone to solve the power issue (Qtek says 200 hours for this mobile and mine can't go more than 24 hours without recharging with 5-10 minutes calls.:
Try to put the prophet phone near an amplifier or the cables of your spekers of your pc and probably u ll notice this. Mine every 25-26 seconds has 1 second activity of the GSM. I have tried with other phones using the same SIM card and of course the same operator (SonyEricssons W550i and P910i) and didn't have anything like this. It sounds more than GSM activity rather than wifi or bt which are both in off mode in my device.
Finally if you need some help in translations for the Greek Language I am here!

yes :( the mxip_MediaHubMini_0409.provxml, mxip_Biotouch_0409.provxml and mxip_APLauncher_0409.provxml do not set up by the cab

they are the once that make links to the images used... only images for quickdial work because it's not using a .provxml

so I need to figur out how to make the cab set up .provxml files

Well u can try but, point is not that mem card is totally inaccissible rather actual problem is "not recognizing correctly if device wakeup afetr standby off"

and once device reset then it is working as long as ur device dont go in satndby off.

If driver were culprit then it should not work any way

LESS THAN 2 DAYS? hey boy you kidding? I wish ANY rom would allow my device to last almost 2 days with normal use! That is pretty good ratio performance-durability!:confused:

Sorry, I am not kidding. I think that there are many things that can be better for these types of systems e.g. the OMAP has a standby current less than 10 uA, and with the display off and the only thing working the GSM part of the TCS3500 (which I think is the whole solution of the prophet - correct me if I am wrong) and the receiver of the RF module working I think the whole power consumption could be much better than this...Perhaps is the OS itself but what I described in page 11 - two times per second gsm activity - is something not happening in smartphones or classic mobiles I think.
And since a lot of posts in Prophet forums are about a ROM which could last more I think this operation is a little bit interesting.
So I am looking for other people who have the same operation of their Prophet in order to find out more things and to help more.

I didn't pretend to be offensive dude. Maybe i am used to that since previously i had a symbian smartphone (nokia 6630) and the usage i did with that is similar to the usage of my XDA. In general terms the battery last the same... 1 -2 days

I have used many many roms and with some exceptions which made the battery drain in 4 hours, the rest was 1 or 2 days maximum

but there are some problems:
1- Bluetooth file transfer protocol is not active as i can't send from my laptop to my JAMin
2- the battery charging using car charger is NOT working dunno why
3- you can add network wizard newest version to support most of networks in order to make GPRS/MMS configuration easier for the user

Is there anyone using spb pocket plus or phatpad?
I experienced the following problems:
1) gesture (in close menu) is very difficult to perform.
2) phatpad responses very slowly (very difficult to write)

I believe these are caused by touchflo as
I have none of these problems in pdaviet 4.0.0.0.5a
Could anyone let me know how to disable the touchflo?
or anyone have a better solution will be greatly appreciated.

I finally installed it. But in the middle in s200 there was a error popup cannot execute repilog.exe or something...

But the installation was successfull.

One thing, It is very impressive, it has changed the entire look of my pda. All credits goes to u gullum. Thanks once again for your guidance.

TouchFlo, I have seen certain videos on youtube, Touchflo on Qtek S200 is this rom supports that, I mean to say, the changing screen with fingers??

Yeah this is cause by touchflo and I'm looking for a rom without that. It's useless for me anyway. :/

Here are the problems:

1. I keep losing my Gmail account, tried to create another account but it also disappear. First I thought it was deleted but when I tried recreated the account it said that account with that name is already exist and also when I open the cemail database using SK Tools I could find the mail content, so I think something is prevent me seeing my account.
2. I also keep losing my modem connection password, this could be fixed by entering the password, just make me curious why is it happen.

Any help will be appreciated

I (and lots of other people) have had this problem since first flashing WM6.

The trick is as simple as it is nonsensical:
If you don't want to lose password's, you must not do a soft-reset when connected to the PC or to the battery charger.

If you want to put it another way, make sure there is nothing connected to the USB port before doing a soft-reset.

Trust me, it works! :)

I don't really know...

This started happening since I first started flashing WM6.
Of the 15+ versions of WM6 I have tried, all of them have this bug in my S200.

However, I also know that many people never had this problem and using the same ROM's as me.

It was a lot worse when I didn't know the trick and had to recreate all wifi profiles, re-pair all bluetooth devices and reenter all email password's every time I soft-reseted my device.:p

go to windows folder then startup and delete startclean from there

now you will keep your recent programs after Soft reset
