remove the Bottom (softkey) Bar?

I know it can be done but I firget where I read it. Can anyone tell me how to remove the Softkey Bar at the bottom of the Today Screen?

Hi, I was always hidding the soft-bar on my HTC Universal, but since I have it upgraded to 128MB RAM , I can use only a few ROMs and the best are Tomal 8.5 or Cotulla ROM, but in these ROMs is just impossible to hide the softkeybar. I tried vjtoggle, dcinobar and the other progs, but no success, the softbar gets nonfunctional, but does not disappear :(
Do you know another way to remove it? For example by editting registry...
