My HW6915/Sable or whatever (and i had told myself never to end up with and Ipaq again) but got my 4 year old BA stolen...

well i am unable to turn on the GPS radio by no means, when i hit the icon on the IPAQ Wireless thing on the today menu it calls the help, (the phone BT and WiIFi they turn on or off) when i open the application i have a tab for each radio except for the gps, in the inventory it tells me that the radio is present but disabled (it was working a few weeks ago thou... ) the only different thing is that i am in Qatar at the moment and the last time i saw the GPS turn on was in France were i live most of the time (but i need more a GPS while visiting other places.... do that makes sense? :))
well i have gone trought the registry but i am at loss... i have changed all values that said gps and were in 0 to 1... so far only thing that appeared is the control panel gps application (it only allows to multiplex so several programs can used the same receiver)

HELP!!!! please...

COM7 and 57600 bauds should "activate" the GPS (others configurations may not activate GPS...)

Maybe you dont have your TomTom setup correctly. Try go to "GPS Status" this is the place where you can see the satelites signals, then press the "Configure" button (down left), then goto "Other NMEA GPS receiver" and press "Select" there you can see Gps baud rate 57600, here press "Done" and finaly on the top of the screen you will see "Internal AGPS NMEA" just press on this position and this is it. I hope this help you :) .... Dont panic, evrything will be fine.
