What so special about this ROM?



Well, nothing special since I'm using the similar ROM (T-Mo 3.60 Beta) as my base ROM just like other cooks but ...



some programs are not cooked in. They are installed through Extended ROM autorun. So, if you feel that mine is bad or taking up spaces then you just can uninstall it/them and install yours. These includes HTCHome Today Plugin.

Also don't expect a large free storage like other ROMs around because I did not strip it to the max for stability purposes. Maybe one day I'll manage to make as big storage and stable as it can.

How to upgrade?




Method 1: You must've installed the Ollipro's SPL 2.10 and select the option no. 4 which is



" SPL-2.02/2.10 New Bootloader and check the last check box " Is it Hard-SPL?" and then carry on with the upgrade wizard.

Method 2: Use SSPL when upgrading by checking the 5th radio button " Force using SSPL"



But I prefer the first method to the 2nd one.

Section B: Setting PagePool size before you upgrade! (No need to Hex edited it yourself) How To ...a simpler way
----------------------------------------------------------

1. Download the GM360.01b-nbh.zip below and extract to any folder you like.

or

If you already downloaded the file GM360.01b.exe then open it with Winrar and extract the files to any folder you like.

2. Download and execute the proper patcher in the same folder you extracted the NBH and RUUWrapper.exe files (Download below). If the patching success then ...

3. Run RUUWrapper.exe to install the ROM on your device as instructed in Section A.

**Attention: Never!, I mean 'never!' run my patch on other Cooks' .nbh files. It will brick your device!

Some simple tricks you can do to improve your device (Very simple but effective) And Some Hints:


1. Improve performance/response time:
- Start > Settings > Phone > Keypad = Off
- Start > Settings > Sounds & Notifications; Under Sound Tab => Disable/Untick Events (warings, system events)

2. Your Windows Mobile device is just like your Windows PC. So, soft reset it before going to sleep (or whenever appropriate) once a day to make it runs good at all time.

3. Make sure you install the today plugin apps such as Resco Today Plugin etc. on the internal/device memory. Some today plugin can be installed on the storage card but it'll slow down your system performance a bit.

4. Do not install too many apps on the internal/device memory. Leave as much free space as you can on it. Check whether it can be install on the storage card or not. Normally, don't let it become as low as 8MB free but 10MB is enough already.

5. Know what you're doing such as tampering your system registry. Make sure it can be done and you're doing it the right way. If not, then leave it as is.

Try this alternative network wizard app.

Net update will be uninstallable Dopod Network Wizard (Asia Pasific) so other users from other parts of the world can have their network setting by installing the alternative wizard.

But, settings->connection is extremely slower than any other roms.

what are differences from TNT 2

Mine is based on T-Mo 3.60 Beta which is the latest ROM available whereas TNT 2 is based on Dopod 3.54 Official. I like Dopod too. So you can make a choice whether you want a customized ROM based on either one but try first and compare later. TNT is cooked by a very experienced cook. So I don't dare to compare mine to his.:cool: :D :cool:

My current ROM does have the network for Asia Pasific but if you want the configuration for other patrs of the world you can download the alternative network wizard. Please see post #1.

I can do lite ROM, but not as big storage as others because of stability purpose. But I'm trying hard to achieve what you all wanted. Give me sometime to give you a better one at least compared to my own set of ROMs.

Thanks for the ROM... Just finished flashing it. During the AutoConfig, it takes quite a long time at the first app (set acoustic param), so i'm just tapping on the skrin, and it continue... maybe i've cancelled it... does it will harm my dopod?

Then after the first reset, the network wizard configures my celcom 3G, but i cannot make video call... is it posibble because i've disturbed the autoconfig process?

I'm using dopod 838 pro and celcom 3G.

The PagePool is 4MB.

You can just uninstall HTCHome from Remove Programs Utility in Settings. I've written about my selective programs on my first post.

If you want a very big storage then this ROM is not for you, sorry. I've not managed to make it as stable as yet to having stripped to much.

For my ROM users, please post some suggestions of what should and what shouldn't be in. I'll consider them and package what I think the most appropriate of all.
Priority is given to Asia WWE ROM users since there's already many europe ROMs around.
Many of the packages will be package as a separated installers (Won't be cooked in). Only the compulsory ones will be cooked in.
I'll start cooking when I get my new set of computer in a few days.

ve just found some bugs in my new ROM. You have to wait some more time. Anyway, Duttythroy has released a very big storage ROM with 7x MB free space. Actually I'm using the same base ROM as he is. If you want it now than go for Dutty's or other ROMs around.

But there is a problem. As I installed MS voice command and BT voice command,
the bluethooth didn't work. I mean I could not turn it on either off.
