Is it time to ask administrators about new forum?

Why?
WM6 for BlueAngel is working. At least several people here (including me) was able to use beta version.
Beta version is good enough for everyday use. In fact: it is release candidate.
Author (helmi_c) promised to release soon. very soon.
A lot of people here are interested in this release.

So...?

:) yes i would like to try out the wm6 for my sx66 also why dont you release the new os today or tomorrow i think that would be very nice. please send me the wm6 please.

I agree - a new forum would be great for all including Newbies and BA fans alike... also to stop rip off mercahnts charging £10 to download on ebay!!!

It will probably be the same way: put your device in "upgrade" mode (power+record+reset) and run maupgrade_noid.

I'm not sure if you can restore any backup.

hello everyone!

after the new WM06 forum is getting bigger and bigger, with an already overwhelming amount of information, i would suggest sub-forums for certain topics...
for example:
one for helmi_c's wm06 rom general stuff and bugs,
one for upgrading problems and questions,
one for addons and third party software
one for misc stuff...

of course their might be better categories, but what do you think about this in general?

just thinking....

Perhaps renaming the old forum ("Blue Angel upgrading etc.") to "Windows Mobile 5" would mae things more clear for users on the forums.

That would not be correct. Although the old forum was mainly WM5 oriented, there were quite a few threads about WM2003 also. I think that the old forum should remain as it is but I tend to agree about sub-forums here in WM6land :)
