View Full Version : Tom B&B4.1 lite, screen crashed out

First many thanks to Tom for his great job.
I just intalled the 4.1 lite, and I also put back the softs I used in b&b4.0, but when I did a soft reset, I can not get the screen light up, the screen was just like dead, but the blue light of middle scroll ball works.
Now I get back to b&b 4.0 trying to figure out what is the problem.

I had a similar problem with the full version when the Artemis turn to sleep mode but the screen lit with a soft reset. I just deactivate the CPUscale option in BatteryStatus to make the screen lit again as before.

Me too had the same problem... the phone seemed to be working but no display... had to hard reset my orbit and it seems to be working fine for almost 2 days now.

Also the Brightness adjustment shortcut in HTC Home didn't work using it seems to be the problem for me

Don't know if it's because of installing some certain programs.

I also had this problem with the full version when the Artemis turn to sleep mode but the screen lit with a soft reset. When I tapped the screen the screen went black again (installed on it: tomtom, CM11.b, used softkey to change contact to use CM) . Did a hard reset yesterday today everything is fine but I havn't installed anything on it

if i use the xp off thing i get this everytime! use the power button on the side now mucho better

Hi, I had the same issue. after a soft reset.

To resolve it :
- Connect HTC to PC or power supply -> Light comes back
- Go to Settings / System / Backlight
- Move the brightness setting for "On battery power" to more bright.
