Hi guys,
I'm facing a strange problem with my HTC P3300 and TomTom v6.030 installed on WM6 (BB 4.0, BB 4.1,...).
TomTom crashes each time i start to get signal from satellites...
Yesterday, for the first time, once crashed, i got the following error message "access memory violation..."
Does anyone met this before and do you think it can be a hardware issue (GPS component...) ?
Thanks for your help.

i never saw your problem (i also run same roms/same TomTom). so i am just wildly guessing now:
- do you have enough free memory?
- did you try uninstall/reinstall tomtom?
- did you try other gps software?
- did you try a hard reset and reinstall or even reflashing and reinstall?
- did you try only freshly-flashed rom plus tomtom without any other software?
- did you try to re-download tomtom and use that file? (ok, that's now pretty far off i guess :D)

... I've tried all these scenarios before and still facing this issue.
So from this situation, I decided to go back to my Original ROM (WM5.0 FR branded with HTC P3300 FR) and made some tests:
- Tried TomTom branded with this ROM: OK
- Deleted this version of TomTom and installed TomTom 6.030: OK
I decided to try another ROM from Fracoon (Fracoon's NewArtemis 2.0 Beta 2 Rom) and now how surprised i was: It works great with TomTom 6.030 !!
No crash once it gets the signal from satellites and i can use TT 6.030 as I was before !!
What I noticed on this ROM is the version of Radio ROM: 02.67.90.
Maybe the issue is happening with all ROMs i've tested with newer Radio ROM versions (02.93.90 / 02.04.90 / 02.95.90/ ...).
For the moment, i'm using Fracoon's ROM and I remain satisfied with this one because very light (only necessayr apps...) and fast !!
Voilą ;-)
