Has anyone bought any of the cheap batteries off of ebay. I would like to know if you have problems with them and do they last as long as the orignal ones. thanks

Actually the one I have has a bit higher MaH rating than the Orig, and lasts a bit longer. I have had no problems with it..

Mine is just as good as the original. It comes with a fancy charger ( disco light when charging), and usb charger, and carry a one year warranty.

This one.

But I see some other similar items selling for even lower price than what I paid for.
For example, this one:

I guess it's only a battery, so should not cost that much to make, especially when all of them comes from China these days.:D

Looks cool.. To bad the USB port requires 5v to charge the Athena, and 1 AA batt. is only 1.5v, so I doubt that item even works. Looks like it might be a scam outta China.
Hell, the picture, isn't even an Athena/X7500/Advantage..

I had one of those AA chargers which I used to charge my Universal around a year ago, although I've since lost it. It converts the 1.5v from the battery to 5v, and does work. Sucks an AA dry pretty quickly though.

If it comes from this guy it is a FAKE, badly made copythat does not fit the supplied charger!
I have 6 pictures to show the differences!

and he pretends it is "just from another factory" when the label says Sanyo!

you can convert 1.5 volts to 5 volts if you change the I and R of course the device really only needs 3.7 volts to run the rest is for charging the battery :)
FYI - V=IR and of course the reason this is kinda of a scam is P=VI so 1 AA battery can not really provide that much wattage cause it can't provide that much current :)

Ok how about 4 AA batteries? 2700mAh each? The thing is my car cigaratte lighter connection is loose so it doesnt charge my electronics anymore. Although it gets hot really not sure why its not charging.
