I read the wiki (thanks guys) and I do have a G4. What mods am i limited to? I wanted to change my today screen and run the radio rom. Thanks!

wizardlove and WM5SE work fine for me. All others either don't flash or contacts do not work.

For Boot Splashes and Radio ROM, you may use any version through the updater program (RUU).

p.s. If your "today screen" means the "Windows Mobile" logo, just make your own 240x320 image named welcomehead.96.png and overwrite the same file in \Windows folder.

For OS ROM, you can use any custom ROMs, however you can't use the updater program.
You must use ShellTool (or typho5+aWizard) to flash custom OS ROMs directly. And you need to revert to your original ROM (or Wizard Love ROM) before flashing to another OS ROMs.

Shelltool does not work for me on all os roms? I always get an error notification on my wizard saying /windows/tim.... something not found and i cannot use contacts.

i get the same thing no matter what rom i flash? is that a problem with ShellTools or what?

Sometimes you need to hard-reset your Wizard for 2 times after ShellTool in order to have everything working properly.
And... you can safely ignore the errors shown during flashing. Just wait for 20 mins then hard-reset for 2 times.
