Vista and rom update

Could someone please explain how I can update my rom to WM6 with vista? I found some procedures but got the impression that they became simpler in time but after reading a lot I can't find it back.

Or is there no simple way under vista. If there is I think a lot of users will be interested.

But it didn't solve my problem allso under xp I keep getting the message that the upload utility is corrupt and it immediately goes to 100%. On the pda I am in the bootloader so all the connecting goes well.

I unlocked the sim and tested this by using another sim and phoning with it.

I allso cannot believe that the O2 rom that I try to install that is in this forum is corrupt.

BTW I hope that

- Connectez le PDA au PC, attendez qu'il soit connecté à Activsync (Gestionnaire pour appareils Windows Mobile sous Vista)".

means that I can use the vista mobility centre instead of active sync?

Do I have to change something there?

Ok, it worked but only with the rom that is given on that french site.

Or probably did something wrong.
