Hello.
I own a Htc Advantage with WM6.
Ive been noticing that at dinner time my battery is low.
I have BT always on and backlight at mximum but since Im in holidays I barely use GPS and phone.
Is it normal? Does it happen to you?
Best regards

I also find battery life inadequeate for my use (but I must admit that I'm too addicted to this device, so I use it almost non stop throughout the day - as long as I'm not doing other things that is).
I solve this problem by buying a second battery. However, even the second one could not last till the end of the day. I store all application in my MD at the moment (long story on this, but I might shift it back to SD card later), so it consumes more battery as a result.
Carrying the second battery is no problem since it is so thin and tiny. Just put it in the pocket.
I got mine from ebay, shipped out of Hong Kong. It's really cheap, and has a one year warranty.
Hope this helps.

If you have your LCD brightness on maximum it will quickly drain your battery. Lower it. Maybe half way? I have mine set at the 4th lowest setting. It is good enough for indoor use, and if I need to use it outdoors, which is fairly seldom, I just set it higher.
All day usage (12 hours), with a lot of GPRS and phone calls etc. my battery goes to about 50-60%.

I used to have much better battery life -- could go a whole day and still have 30% left. When I switched to AT&T, battery life seems much worse. I was on T-Mobile. Upgrading to WM6 seems to have made things even worse. Any solutions?

one observation on the x7501's, if you have ANY meters on (today screen- ilaunch, spb etc) it will make a big draw on the power, have seen it drop 30-40% overnight (while off)
turning off the meters (still running ilauncher, just no meters), and much better battery life.
