Excellent! Downloading now. Laurentius & Beasts version is excellent (I just hope this version does not come with the GSM Radio crash bug). I am back on Ivans v6a, with radio 1.18 and no crashes since. Only drawback is that the phone pad interface speed REALLY sucks!

some files are still missing in ROM, need to add, but no more crappy radio crashes.

I have Radio 1.15, in case that matters. I am fine to upgrade. I am just more wondering why the hell it won't boot. Is anyone else having any trouble? I've re-downloaded the ROM and everything.

Can anyone else guess why something like this would happen?

Ringtones Delay

Ring tone has a standard 3 seconds delay before repeating. You can set the delay from 0 second to how many second that you want.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Sounds\RingTone0
Change ‘Script’ from ‘av0pw3r’ to ‘av0pr’ and you’ll get 0 sec delay.
OR change it to
av0pw1r = wait for 1 sec
av0pw2r = wait for 2 sec



heres is description for other codes in phone Script

a - stands for display
r - repeat/replay the script again
c - sets the volume C50, c150, c100
f - means flash .. f1 flash for 1 second and f0 stands for flash continuously
p -means play ringtone
v- vibrate then incorporate with number to state how many seconds it will vibrate example. v3 vibrate for 3seconds or v0 for continous
w - stands for wait or pause then specify how many seconds like w3(wait for 3 seconds)

Camera works for me. No GSM Radio Crash, and one of, if not THE fastest ROM ever tested by me.

Utilising SKTools's Benchmark I get about 25% faster than a standard UNI running WM5!

This Vanilla Rom is really super fast.

I didnt test much like camera ..bluetooth..GPRS..etc

WM5 Storage.cab is installed & working..Am able to use as a Removable disk.
Thats the most I wanted apart from Phone functionality(well atleast for now)

1 emailaccount bug
2 camera not functionning (both problems propebly linked)
(after hard reset a created a new email account, then the camere worked one time only, after soft reset, camera dead, and creating another account again impossible )
3 speakerfunction in phone not working
4 band switching impossible (also an "oldy" bug)

but trully this must be the fastest rom at this time.
(I think it wont get any faster than this)

Enclosed a Camera.Zip. copy included files to Windows and softreset.
Above has worked for me.
Anyhow if this not work some here,then go to Windows\AppButtons find the Camera.ink and Under property's change the shortcut to Windows\Camera.exe (this will fix the hardware button)

yep, copied and softreset.
link is ok. camera is trying to start (you see it first opens without showing pictures and videos and then camera in active field (top bar)
But then I can look indefinately at the turning windows tingy.

I also noticed that pictures and videos folder opens, but you can not view any picture (just keeps showing thumbnails)

I will try to reflash again.
hope it works, because like I stated, this rom is really fast

i just re-build the D900 from a pc-power-failure problem during flashing. ok it works again on 18159,

I don't think so (or at least it is not interally due to 1.18)
because I just gave up on this rom and switched to: "Yet Another ROM (AKU 0.3.0 OPTIMIZED) ( 1 2) "from mamiware.

Still using 1.18 but drain is much more "normal" now

(btw. also a great rom, with working camera ;) )

Besides the little problems like

1-Email
2-file images not be correct opened by program
3-Speakers not work on phone call

( no batery troubles, radio v1.18 and signal very good for now, dont know if its me, but this room seems work better at low signal places, and no CAM problems to, i dont use videocall.).

This room seems to have something new in my universal.

The RAM MEMORY USAGE.

After one half day using this rom. same after open, a lot of files, and become less 6Mb of ram free. after close all programs, the ram come back to standarts 23, 24Mb.
Other roms the RAM start become low, low, and the device lock ( same oficial wm5 roms)

This was the GREATEST thing from this. Seems now the WM¨do a correct manager from the RAM and USAGE.

In my observation this was the "Q" from this ROM.

JUST A OBS:
AGAIN is a pain...
Little things to solve ( already donne in past), but hard to find docs about this, because no one put togheter files, delete rgu, merge files in OEMAPPS or same in forum, a specific topic about fix, how was fixed. Give for anyone SPEED. Later we need to spend LONG times doing search, and comparing rooms, time that we can spend doing NEW THINGS)..

I can only see a 14M flash disk, where's the 9M ext_rom? How can I see it?
I've tried "UNI ext rom_unlock.exe" and nothing happened after soft reboot.

Confirmed - my O2 XDA Exec (radio rom 1.18) will not boot this rom beyond the Qtek splash.
Is this perhaps an issue specific to O2's hardware revision?

I just tried extracting the XIP and IMGFS from this rom, then injecting them into the AKU0.5 rom from lurentius and beast, like this :-
RomMaster.exe nk.atnonymous.nba -w 5 -b 0x00310000 -x -o xip.nb
prepare_imgfs.exe nk.atnonymous.nba -nosplit
make_imgfs.exe nk.aku05.nba
and finally add the XIP section using Bepe's xipport at location 0x310000

The result was a corrupt splash screen ("windows vista" from aku0.5 rom), RGD version numbers and no further activity.
I think it might be the XIP section that's unhappy with my O2 device, which is a shame 'cos that's where all the juicy parts of the OS are.

nice rom! fastest rom ever! love the flash disk!! (just like my good old himalaya)

camera function does work (applied patch from this topic)
(btw I use the hardware button to start coolcamera)
applied backlight hardware button fix cab
used registry editor for "ring" delay
wireless did connect 2 wpa secured do not know if it's an stable connection

2 bugs left: speaker function and incomplete/defect picture viewer
for now i use an alternative picture viewer .. but still...

All work fine.

I have flashed EVERYROM that xda produced. Everyone has its quirks, but it seems to be getting better every time. But, I never had issues like the ones you mention. Maybe do a re-flash with the OEM ROM and try again.

This is by far THE BEST ROM EVER!!!
This is as fast as the universal can ever get! Extremely stable and works like a charm!

One question though....where did the flash disk pop out of???? How did you manage to get the extra space????!! I'm really confused! Did you remove unnecessarily allocated DMA buffers?

I have a theory as to what's causing this to work on some devices and fail at the spash screen on others. What if it's the bootloader version that's causing the problem?

I'm using bootloader v2.01 (my phone came with that ver).
Please post the version of your bootloader along with info as to whether or not this rom boots for you.

NO NO NO it will brick your device. 2.01 is for G4 chips, 1.01 is for G3 chips. You can't flash 1.x to a G4 device.
Looks like the problem is in flash disk - it works only on G3 chips.
I personally have 1.01 and ROM works.

For the record - at no point would I suggest downgrading the bootloader - that would always be a bad idea.

The problem most likely stems from the use of trueffs_g3.dll in the XIP as opposed to trueffs.dll.

Thanks for the Fix! I use Resco Explorer's viewer (It negates the WM6 Picture viewer issues, and is faster as well). On the camera I have no issues.

Hey there. Tried this rom just now. Really, its one of the best i think.
However, since some roms ago, im having huge problems with the phone cutting of calls EACH 2 minutes that passes.. I thought at first it was 3g switching. but when i changed to GSM it still cuts it after 2 minutes more or less exactly.
Any ideas?

NO NO NO it will brick your device. 2.01 is for G4 chips, 1.01 is for G3 chips. You can't flash 1.x to a G4 device.
Looks like the problem is in flash disk - it works only on G3 chips.
I personally have 1.01 and ROM works.

Go to bootloader mode and see what version it is! if its 1.xx its G3 or if its 2.xx its g4! :)

This is indeed a very Good Rom.

Everything that is important to me seems to be working except WPA/TKIP wireless lan.

Exchange Pushmail, Windows Live (Hotmail) and a Fast Phone response.

Best WM6 ROM so far for me.

Those reporting additional power usage should note that unlike other ROMs installations it has Beams set to On by default. This consumes a lot of power. Error reporting default is set to On as well which may slow what is already a blisteringly fast ROM. Many thanks @anon

I have the same problem, this morning i was on my bycycle on my way to work and my phone was hanging. gonna test tomorrow if it is a memory issue!

I suspect batterysettings and/or new performance adjust settings to be the cause of the many hangs I keep on getting.

Flashed them both several times also changing radiorom, but I couldn't get one running without hanging within a few hours.

Am I the only one ??

I am sorry to hear that! On my side there is no issues, battery and back light is functional. I had only one Device hanger during a file transfer with Bluetooth. Let see what others can feedback as well.

This rom is interisting but too buggy, i tested all releases (ranju, nncuong, anonimus, and pdaviet) and all have serious problems and kept rolling back to ranju aku 0.3, the most reliable wm6 for me to date.

Just tried the 2.11.12_CLEAN PDAVIET ROM on my G4.
It got halfway through activesyncing contacts before hard rebooting, so stability is probably not great.

In common with ranju's rom, the hardware buttons and touchscreen don't respond after one of these random reboots. Likewise the orange charge light doesn't come on when connected to a charger.

Reboot manually, and it all returns to normal, for a while.....

It's a shame as this ROM is just perfect, except for the fact that it's unuseable!

Ran a quick test of 2.11.13.

It includes coreplayer, and was still unstable on my G4 device :-(

On a happier note - I tried taking the 2.11.12 rom, extracted Ivan's V1 OS+OEM and rebuilt as a hybrid OS 5.2.1908 (build 18159.0.5.0).

It's not crashed after a couple of hours of constant use. So whatever's causing the 2.11.1x instability for some users (me included) is in the OS+OEM part (IMGFS).

2.11.13 PDAVIET BUILD 18508 Worked nice on my G4.

WIFI/WPA works ok that you need to switch it off and on while connecting AP.

Bug: after WIFI on, icon of Wifi on the screen top with error: if you off wifi but icon still a "On" since your phone function is Off.

I had Radio 1.18 without any errors. I then tried Beast & Lau's ROM with radio 1.17. I had a few issues and decided to go back to @nonymous's ROM with Radio 1.17 this time. I now have experienced a few GSM Radio Errors and went back to Radio 1.18 today. I will report back in a few days. I also did not have the radio error on other ROM's where I used radio 1.18.
