Anyway to increase Bluetooth audio output?

I use my Advantage quite a bit on my motorcycle, for listening to MP3s, GPS output, etc. And this is done via Bluetooth to my motorcycle helmet. However, when wearing earplugs the max audio output is a bit too low. Using a straight audio cable out of the Advantage is better, to where I actually need to turn the volume down some. But I'd prefer to use the BT output, but was wondering if there's any way to increase the audio volume that way? :confused:

You did not say what BT earpiece you are using, but I almost never have the audio all the way up on my Jabra BT8010. I believe almost all the problems using them have been solved (search "priority256_fix").

For wired headphones, try a Boostaroo.

I'm actually using it with a Chatterbox GMRS X1 Bluetooth unit, not regular headphones or a Bluetooth "headset".

No, I haven't tried this option - thanks for pointing it out! :) I'm curious if I'd lower or increase the Default value to increase Bluetooth volume - does a higher number equate to louder?

i would assume that louder-= higher volume

far too pissed to do it myself right now.

to be honest i think two years with an iriver h320 using the korean firmware has melted my ears....

btw if you dont have a reg editor you can download the resco super dooper trailware- think that the reg editor still works after the trial period expires 9r go for kilmist.

this is somewhat on the other side of the coin regarding what i did to solve this same issue i had. i use bt as well when riding my bike. the bt unit i use is itech and the headphones can be changed. what i plug in noise cancelling headphones (senheiser) which thus keeps the sound really crisp and loud. to the point where i actually have to lower the volume to prevent my ear drums from exploding =) so this is not an application solution but more on a hardware point of view.
