yes it works, and the bluetooth too. The program (well, it's an executable) is called WirelessToggle, it's here in xdadevelopers. If you can't find it, i will post it.

I like your layout. I'm wondering what layout/icon set you're using for pocketweather? I can't get anything close to that on the stock layouts.

Also, if you've played around with editing the pocketweather layouts, I have another question for you. Would it be possible to make a layout that ONLY displays the current temp and wind speed/direction on the today screen? I don't need upcoming days, icons, etc, just a couple of digits. If this is possible, then I might dig in a little deeper and figure out how to do it. Thanks

Yep, I played with the PocketWeather Skins myself - tehre's a theread on the sbsh.net forums for PocketWeather resources called Tractor's Compact Skin where you can download it, and the icon set... skinning pocketweather is quite easy when you get into it - just get a skin that has everything you want in it and more, get it onto your pc and open it in notepad...

That worked like a charm. Finally it´s not more necessary to press like 3 or 4 buttons just to enable Wifi. Thanks a lot man.

click Browse (...), click Windows, click Start Menu and choice what programs do you want to add to Bottom Tray bar.

well, i've deleted my thing, but it should be available on this page "http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=380103&page=5" go down u'll see it,

slightly different and no sig bars in that one.
heres how i managed to get the bars up. i was't bright enough to use the built in methods for the bars.but

used a reg tracker and a series of separate png files each with a different number at the end. and something like img src=sig%d.png

or sumfin.. maybe thats from my batt status version..

you get the idea. sorry to tell u i've deleted it.
but i strongly recommend doing this in battery status

yes its all free, i made it with batterystatus only ( i dont like rltoday or wisbar or any other plugin much, best to keep it running as fast as possible)

there are some problems with it right now.
it is done with battery status, and tapping certain things toggles the line around >< (easy fix)

and most importantly, it is using a static background img. gimi a day, if i still havn't fixed it i'll just upload this. but you have been warned! :p

How do i turn the .png icons to .brn? I tried using the .png icons but i just get a black box in place of it. I tried to convert the .png to .bmp, then .bmp to .brn but when i select the converted .brn icon the Touch Settings app shuts down.

When i use png icons for customizing my cube, i get black boxes with text instead of the icons. I tried converting the png to bmp, then bmp to brn but when i use the converted brn icons, my customizing program quits every time! Does anyone know of a better way to convert png to brn?

1. battery status - install it!
2. My zip files from my original post (1-2pages ago) - download and unzip the entire contents except "wall.png" into your "windows\batterystatus" folder
3. in battery status choose "rainbow" as theme under advanced config
4. turn on show more indicators as well as show cpu speed (well thats if you want it to lok exactly like mine)
5. wall.png, thats just an image, copy it somewhere and set it as today background. (aka, copy to my pictures folder on your device, and select it as wallpaper in "pictures and videos")

edit : deactivate all rows apart from "time & date" and Task(2nd one on the list

6. OPTIONAL , i've got my current setup with htc home's weather. So, install htc home if you havn't already, and set transparent background for the theme. and htc weather will rock your today setup!

I don't use the HTC Home theme on mine, I just have the Date/Owner Info/Messaging and SpbDiary on my Today screen.

Do you guys turn off your Touch when not using it, or do you leave it on Lock with the screen dimmed? Sorry if it's a stupid question, cos I never tried locking it for a whole day.

Sure, but imho there's none above, PocketBreeze is the best there is, I'm not going to try to go through all the features, but give it a shot, you'll be amazed...one more amazing thing is the responsiveness of the dev's at SBSH, Amit and his staff simply rocks :)

i've used pbreeze since a LONG time ago, however switchin away from it (to today agenda) gave a pleasant increase in performance (maybe placebo effect).

same with movin away from wisbar stuff

Im hoping just this image will give you an idea.
I messed up my system font and for the life of me can't change it back. I thought I was being sneaky and some how I changed Tahoma in the windows directory to a different font renamed Tahoma. And now no matter what I've tried I can't change it back. It only affected a few things, but the effects were major. Any ideas? Heres what changing the registry keys looks like-
HKLM\System\GWE\Menu\PopFnt\Ht = 1200
HKLM\System\GWE\Menu\PopFnt\Wt= 700

I've tested lots of different size combos and this one seems to work best. Changing the other registry values in nearby keys have no effect (?). This size is as big as I can get it before any menus go off screen- however when they do- no big deal- WM6 will offer scroll bars for you. I've tried to completely remove stylus use from my phone. If people like, I can dig back out the scroll bar settings where you can make scroll bars wider- but you can mess up some arrangements taking that too far.

I use the HTCHomeCustomizer (which I found using google) with the AlienRound clock font, LGMenu for the bottom 4 icons, and a custom phat Alienware background image I captured from my laptop (on which it was stretched from 1600 to 1920 width) and cropped via MsPaint.

Some further enhancements I'd like to make, if anyone can help, are:

I use the HTCHomeCustomizer (which I found using google) with the AlienRound clock font, LGMenu for the bottom 4 icons, and a custom phat Alienware background image I captured from my laptop (on which it was stretched from 1600 to 1920 width) and cropped via MsPaint.

Some further enhancements I'd like to make, if anyone can help, are:

ok, Im not gna make a thread for this. (its not That big =P)

so here's the how to:

1. battery status - install it!
2. My zip files from my original post (1-2pages ago) - download and unzip the entire contents except "wall.png" into your "windows\batterystatus" folder
3. in battery status choose "rainbow" as theme under advanced config
4. turn on show more indicators as well as show cpu speed (well thats if you want it to lok exactly like mine)
5. wall.png, thats just an image, copy it somewhere and set it as today background. (aka, copy to my pictures folder on your device, and select it as wallpaper in "pictures and videos")

edit : deactivate all rows apart from "time & date" and Task(2nd one on the list

6. OPTIONAL , i've got my current setup with htc home's weather. So, install htc home if you havn't already, and set transparent background for the theme. and htc weather will rock your today setup!

I got it, with a little PM help from our friends.

Use Ultimate Launch to just show the weather tab.
Use HHC Home Customizer to set Transparent for the HTC Home Plugin
Pick only Time and Date and Messaging Rows in BATSTAT

I just now have to install RLTODAY and used spencepu3's BLue icons and skin to get the bottom 4 buttons below the weather, and I should have the Good's.

Didn't have time to play with my phone last night GTA4 released. :cool:

Then on spencepu3's theme page, he gives a nice step by step for removing the bottom bar (Calendar / Contact) so the 4 button bar is down there instead. Have to copy a nice little app to your startup to get it to stay away on soft-resets and such.

Hope this helps you out, I got it up and good.

All of those apps can be DL'd from spencepu3's theme install, just go down a few posts and click on his sig to his themes...Nice packed up Zip with Ultimate Launch, bottom tray remove, etc.

Just updated my today screen

At the top overlaying the "start" icon is PQzII found HERE (http://discussion.treocentral.com/showpost.php?p=1224511&postcount=110), it add lots of great functionality to the treo 750 keyboard.

The just bellow that there is phonealarm (http://www.pocketmax.net/phoneAlarm.html), looks nice has lots of differant skins and makes it easyer to see sms, email, missed calls and voicemail.

And at last good old Calendar+ (http://www.mohairsofa.com/Default.aspx/document/10), lots of options to view all you appointments.

And yes darn it Eurvision is teh awsome! :)

The clock is a batterystatus skin not HTC home. The weather is htc weather but it is inside of ultimatelaunch, that is how I put it on the bottom.

I struggled with HHC and UltimateLauncher for a while, but I just couldn't get it to show HTC Weather without any tabs like spencepu3. If I deselect everything but the weather tab, there's still just a huge unclickable weather tab at the bottom and it still has a top bar that says 'Weather'.

Am I missing something obvious here? I had a hope that maybe you could just select HTC Home Weather inside UltimateLaucher, but no such luck.

Anyhow, I settled for SPB Weather (With gestures to slide to SPB Time and SPB Home) for the moment with LG-Today and the BatteryStatus skin nicked from the guys in this thread.

In ultimate Launch, click on the Change in Tabs Manage Tabs.

Then Click on the Tab on the top, and complete DELETE the caption Text Weather or whatever the name is.

OK back to the main menu screen.

Now, you will need to play with the size settings for the Plug-in and the tab height. I set my position to Bottom, and the height to 115 'I think' can't remember off hand.

Play with the top margin too and get it to fit good with RLToday running below UL. WIth the LG menu.

Hopefully that makes sense and it will definitely make the Tab go BYE BYE. :D

its not actually a theme in and of itself... the actual 'theme' is an xml file i found. you can find it too, just search for allblack.xml and download it. that will give you a black task bar. i removed the soft keys status bar from the bottom of the screen using 'dcinobar.exe' which you can also find by searching the forums. the alien head is cut from a wallpaper i found on alienware.com, and sized, positioned and cut using plain old ms paint. i would share these files, but i am unable to upload any files from opera mobile. sorry.. keeps giving me invalid file error. the today plugin is simply htc's today plugin, and i used HHC, htc home customizer, which you can also find by searching, and set the background to none (maybe it was transparent), the clock font to AlienRounded, and the tab icons to PSP. thats pretty much it. glad you like it.

thanx.. i tried that one already and couldn't figure out how to set the font to alienrounded. i found a cab called something like nothin_xo1bstheme or something like that that gave me a clock with the right font, plus the couters for email, sms, missed calls, and voicemail, which i'm still playing around with...

yes, you are missing something :) it took me a while to find it, and cant remember where it is inultimatelaunch,ut theres a tab called tab or tabs where you can set the HEIGHT of the tabs to 0 or 1. and it works. then you can set the guestues as you'd like for switchubgtabs. i used cube and its awesome

I liked asefsef's batterystatus theme so I made some softkeys using rltoday to match it:

i FINALLY figured it out...in case anyone else is having trouble with the rltoday skin that was posted. if you use the blue buttons and the skin.xml you have to change the name of the buttons to match the names in the xml file.

maybe i'm just slow and i should have realized that a long time ago....but either way i'm still glad i got it working. it looks great! thanks :)

guys, still not sure bout this one. I have got asefsefs today skin installed but have 2 problems.

1) everything looks really pale (maybe this is something i changed in HHC?)
2) all the numbers are scattered all over the screen!
