Hello;
In first, I would like TO THANK (in capital letter) FAMAN for his new ROM (3.3 French).
I installed it yesterday, and until now I have no trouble except in contact, there is no more the touch screen. I found it marvellous - may be in the future version.

So, I ask your help concerning the USB Storage.
I would like to reinstall my Tomtom6 and the transfert is very long by activsync.

Is there a version/software which works with wm6 to put our DEAR Trinity/P3600/spv M700 in USB mode.

Many thanks for your help.
Regards

Clement

installing tomtom should only take 1 (or maybe 2) minutes maximum via active sync.

If you're talking about you map - use a card reader to transfer the map to you mini SD card. then you're only limited by the mini SD card speed.

If you have an SDHC Card you are stuck to the USB Speed of the P3600 cause I
didn't find an card reader for this cards. Its nice to have all these Cards on my 4GB Card but it's realy a pain to wait 45 minutes to copy only 1GB of data :eek:

Hello;

Thansks for yor quick replies.

Unfortunally, I haven't got card reader for transfert data to my trinity's sd-card.
By this post, I would like to know of there were software like WM5Storage which are compatible with wm6.
I tried Wm5Storage and Softick Card Export II, but it doesn't work with my ppc.

regards

Clément

Start -> Settings -> Connections -> USB to PC -> Uncheck Enable advanced network functionality.
Wm5torage and Softick Card export must be installed in main memory.

From the wm5storage site you should have read before posting:

FAQ - Please Read before you ask questions in the support topic to avoid repetition

Q - I see that some people with Samsung CPU-based devices use WM5torage ok, but it does not work for me, why?
A - As far as I know from people reports, you should at least try to disable the "Advanced Networking" in the "USB to PC" options. This seem to be the particular quirk of the Samsung USB controller driver. It seem have no effect on some firmware/device versions, but still worth to try.
