View Full Version : Blueangel WM6 Contact list problem.

Ok so here's the problem:
Whenever i want to go to my contact list, either by pressing the contact button, or going to my contact list via, Phone or "Contacts" on the start menu, it just flashes "contacts" at the top, doesn't display my contacts, and then just goes back to the today screen.
Is there a fix for this?

did you perform "power&reset + no/yes/yes + mail button" the first time?

I've pushed power&reset,.. but nothings come up, and it goes through the usual boot up.
As for the mail button, where do i find that?
are u sure u have a blueangel device ?

I've pushed power&reset,.. but nothings come up, and it goes through the usual boot up.
As for the mail button, where do i find that?
as soon as you push power&reset, you now press the camera&record buttons simultaneously. three lines will come up, and you use both camera & record buttons to navigate and toggle from no to yes to no... so at the end you'll get no/yes/yes (1st line/2nd line/3rd line)
the mail button is the 2nd button from the left (the one with the envelope icon).
all of these are in the wiki, which you're supposed to read before you attempt to upgrade. it appears you haven't done any reading yet, hehe...
Lool ok , now the mail button is the SECOND BUTTON BELOW THE SCREEN , with the Mailbox icon, next to Start up menu button on the left and the IE button on the right , to be more specific , the one with the set of 4 buttons . U can easily find it by look at the FRONT SIDE of the device . In Any case , you DID NOT find it , ill post you a Screenshot . cheersss

Silly me!
I did read the Wiki (Much help), and from there it was straight forward, it was just this little problem that was bugging me, but thank you very very much. :)

Bingo,.. it's working.
Everythings running in order, just like it did when i had WM5.
oooh,.. i wonder if i still have Worms World Party on it.

that will be lost... a result of the no/yes/yes action you did.
in any case, i assume you wouldn't have any problem installing the said game.

I got a backup sitting somewhere.
I'm not too fussed though that i've lost it, cause this device serves me alot more than just a games device.
(Jawbreaker is a time waster enough)
