Hi
Its a registry hack just go to hklm/drivers/sdcard/clientdrivers/class/sdmemory_class and here modify the value of "Blocktransfersize" from 128 to 64 it fix the media player sound cracking but also slightly decrease the data writing speed on ur card. this will not harm ur card and ur card will work perfectly with ur card reader and if u dont use the card reader than when u want to transfer large amount of data(above 256 mb) u can increase this value upto 512.

Thanks... this solution works great on my WMP. Played music for almost 2 hours+
But, can u explain why the "Blocktransfersize" got to do with the cracking sound?

i dont know the exact reason but once i was listening music (cracking) and i noticed that if any program runs and use sd card then the cracking convert into smooth music so i try to put load on sd card by running applications on card then i decide to try some registry changes and got that.

Isn't there a similar key im registry for the WMP?
Since the problem only occurrs with WMP it shoulb be a key that only affects it and not one general for the device.
Anybody that as WM5 instaled can confirm the default value of the key? (curiosity)

well i do not believe that this is proper fix for WMP, this will decrease the transfer of read/write to the SD card, trough the sdcard driver. I am still thinking that this is WMP related problem not sdcard driver problem.

Hi,
Thanks for the tips. May not be a long term solution as mentioned by Xplode... but at least, it work for now.
Anyway, does anyone know how to fix the problem on video playback on WMP in full screen mode? i.e. landscape view on full screen. it is always playing back on portrait on full screen now. Any solution?
Thanks in advance!

to do this u need a registry editor application like phm regedit or resco regedit. After installing the application run it and browes the address as in first post.
