Internal memory slider?

Is there a way to activate the slider you used to get on WM 2003 SE where you can decide how much is used for storage and how much for programs. The SPV 700 is keeping it more or less half way but I need more for programs than for storage. Help would be appreciated.:)

no ms left the path of using ram as storage with wm5

with devices made since then all storage is places in flash
flash is slow for writing and cant be used for application ram
because it have a limited number of writes before it dies
kinda like cd-rw discs
