02 xda 1.30.162 always crashes

I went to the my-xda site and got the latest firmware but it seems to always crash so that i have to use mtty to resto my pda.


anyone else had better luck using this newish firmware and how.

i used vista and xp and still nothing....

well i've tried the update about 5 more times and nothing seems to work either on xp or vista, the only thing i can think of is that it states active sync 4.1 in the manual where i use 4.5 or vista's mobile device centre but i would not think this would do n e thing to effect it.

What version of Bootloader are you using? I allways found it easier to upgrade from BL Mode (Power+Reset+Light), by using the Manual Upgrade.

Do you still have a working link to the 1.30.162 Universal ROM?
I would really appreciate it.
