hi guys i m back again with one more solution.
sorry for a new theread cause i m not able to edit my previous post "3rd part applications" due to some browser problem.
After fighting a lot with tcpmp i got the way to solve WMA support issue.
in wm6 the deocder for WMA is named as WMA9prodecoder.dll while in previous windows it is named as WMAdecoder.dll this is the reason which do not allow TCPMP to use the windows WMA decoder.
here u go
just download and put this dll file into ur windows folder and ur TCPMP will get the decoders of WMA.

Personally, I use Coreplayer so I have no problems like this.....

it worked in my Imate SP5 running WM 6.1 ROM Final of Ricky Wyatt
now my TCPMP Player plays the wma files...

i have attached a file in my post which is DLL (direct link library) system file. u need to download it and copy it in the windows folder of your device .
