Tray icons reg settings.
"dword:00000000" - disable, "dword:00000001" - enable
Power icon
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Services\Power]
"ShowIcon"=dword:00000000
Rotation icon
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\GDI\Rotation]
"EnableTray"=dword:00000000
And wireless icon
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Services\WirelessMgr]
"Keep"=dword:00000000
Use WIKI and search ;)

How do I enable the battery icon on top of the taskbar near the clock like in WM6 cause it mine it doesn't show by default.

Someone please help me get that up so that I can also remove the battery and rotation icons from the bottom small taskbar.

Use this tool it will be very helpful.Dang, it's busted for me.

I get a DirectoryNotFoundException when I launch it and I can't seem to find the reason for it. :(

It also works nicely for me. However, I am looking for a way to disable the System Tray and so far, nothing. Have tried most of the reg hacks mentioned here and run into a brick wall as my Dell Axim x51v doesn´t have those reg entries (?!?!?!) :confused:

All I want to do is remove the WiFi & BT icons so that the system tray will close. Any ideas folks?

That is because your device uses different drivers for it. However it should not be too hard to find the correct registry entries for your device. Try playing with entries in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Services\ dir.

Thanks Wexx. Even with the extended ROM visible I only get as far as "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Services\" before I lose my way. What really *isses me off is that I HAD managed it a while back but cant for the life of me remember how!!!!

Anyway, thanks!
